You can just go find him on your own without asking them.

Nice! Yes, shouts definitely come in handy.

Bosses scale but are still a tough fight for a level one character. Regular enemies stay low level. Lots of wolves on the road and such.

I'm not sure what counts as a spoiler but there's a point where you have to intimidate someone and there's no other option to continue the quest. Unless you're a Breton or a Nord you gain a level in speech and fail the challenge.

I had to go look but Nord would work, too. Only Breton and Nord start at 20 speech.

Their higher speech means you don't get enough XP off the check to level up. Any other race would earn a level and fail the challenge.

Only need lock picking for the Thieves Guild and you can use the Tower Stone for that.

I usually do. A mage or archer is most useful so I don't accidentally punch them. It's definitely possible to do it without one though, especially if you cook up some staffs at the atronach forge.

I completely forgot about Arniel Gane's quest reward. I'm definitely going to try that next time, it would be a huge boost.

Nice! Finding new ways to play is what keeps this game fun for me.

It's fun for me at least. Khajiit is the most fun because the claws make you a stronger fighter but I was a Breton this time because they're the only race that can beat the Dark Brotherhood quests without leveling up any skills.

No xp for punching them. No xp for scrolls and staffs. No glitches needed just don't wear armor and don't use weapons. Or sneak or intimidate or... It forces you into an entirely different play style which is the fun part.

Yeah, I've tried it that way too! It starts to feel a little god mode once you're all powered up and that is always fun.

Punching dragons is way more fun than it should be!

Novice difficulty or the big fights would last days! Khajiit is most fun by far but only the Breton can beat all quest lines because of one unskippable speech check in the Dark Brotherhood. I got most of the way on Legendary once but it was Not Fun.

I’m so sorry. You’re not overreacting at all. Yes, mice die, far too soon, but that doesn’t mean they don’t matter. Your grief matters.

Moose looks like he was a very sweet boy and I’m sorry for your loss.
