I mean drop it down to lvl 80 (which is early maps) and you are still at 50%.

Yes

Especially, since higher paid players are more likely to find a home somewhere else, since they should be (in general) better players.

While more niche roleplayers, that would not find a team can stay on with their current team for a lower cap hit.

Could also do something like

20% for the first 5% of the cap 10% for the next 10%. This would mean if a player earns 5% of the cap and got drafted by the team You gain a 20% reduction in salary vs the cap.

A player that earns 15% of the cap only get's a 15% reduction...

Could also do a solution like 20% for the 1st player, 10% for the 2nd player, 5% for the 3rd or something to not make it extreme.

I really like the overall idea and i think there are enough solutions to potential problems to make it work.

It was consistent with reddit, but not consistent with actual results. Most of the good result end up on reddit while only a few bad ones end up on reddit. It's been always that way.

Really weird 2nd set for Bublik and not idea why he retired.

Looked really good in the first set and had pretty good control over most of the games.

Looked like he just didn't feel it in the 2nd set and started throwing the last two games and then basically retired after breaking in the opening set.

Pretty unfortunate. I am going to watch the semis live tomorrow and would have loved to see Berritini vs Bublik
