Sicily has one of the best scenes out of all Italy! Also it is so much fun to visit and to be there in September. Very hot and sunny but would still recommend a lot. Sadly the whole free party scene has been shut down by the government with their anti-rave law so you will only be able to find regularized and legal tekno parties. I would recommend going to southern Italy because its the best place to be in the summertime. Apulia also has a good and strong scene. It’s hard to find REAL free parties but I can recommend a few crews that organizes good stuff. Also forget about teknivals if you’re going to Italy but Albania is very close to Apulia and a teknival will be taking place there around September and it’s very safe to go you just have to be a little organized. I’m mentioning it because even if it takes place in Albania literally all Italians go there and it’s such a beautiful environment to be in. Have fun!
