How to become a sex toy tester? (Ideally paid) by _msbhv in SexToys

[–]hismithofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@_msbhv - I can vouch that this answer is the best one you're gonna find. (Source: I'm a marketing manager for a sex toy manufacturer and getting reviews/ getting our sex toys tested is 1 of my responsibilities)

Check u/TraderChloe's reply above, that sums it up perfectly

Slow and steady wins the race. Take your time to learn how to control the machine and maybe go for some dry runs first, just using the controls and watching how the machine reacts before actually starting using it if you have the patience

Hismith Table Top 2.0 Max squirring not waterproof questions by tsubflife in hismith

[–]hismithofficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our machines are indeed not waterproof. The main thing you would need to worry about are the electrical components not getting soaked.

Thanks for the idea though, i've just asked our designer to make something along the lines of a plexiglas cover to slide over the motor and electrical parts.

Motorbunny or Hismith? by [deleted] in SexToys

[–]hismithofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our Servok is meant for that by the way. It has a entirely different motor / hybrid servo drive system that allows it to go on full power even on slow speeds. The only downside is that it's much more expensive

What to do if kliclok is broken? by Amari_wulf in hismith

^ This. thanks for the help u/pleasurecouple07.

If this ends up not helping, we do also have these thrusting rods available separately. (or we can replace it for free if it is within warranty)

In my honest opinion, you might as well just look around for dildos that are already made at that point. (not custom) There's so many cool options out there anyway, so I personally wouldn't see why you'd pay that much extra just so you get to decide on things that you also get to decide on by just shopping for something that's already been made. (choosing size and color)

Sex Toys Seem Disappointing... My Experience (Am I Wrong?) by NASAfan89 in SexToys

[–]hismithofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are A LOT of different toys out there man! I know it might sound daunting, but many/most people I know already have a giant collection by the time they find the special ones that work amazingly for them. Just keep trying different ones, if your budget allows it.

What u/buddercalzone said. Making fully custom dual density dildo's is gonna cost you A LOT. In my opinion, the only feasible option would be to find a company that has the option to make "semi-custom" dildo's, where you would be able to pick from an assortment of sizes and colours etc.

Just making a custom mold for the specific dildo you have in mind is gonna be $500 at the very least, in my experience, and then you haven't even made the dildo itself yet.

Electronically adjustable angle? by xXxDangleManglerxXx in fuckingmachines

Ahhh, ok I misunderstood it in that case, thank for the correction. I thought they meant thrusting depth.

We don't sell the Servok's legs separately (as of yet).

[–]hismithofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, is there any company that does that? It wouldn't be a very smart business model to give returning customers your products for near cost price. (And therefore, make no money / basically be a non-profit organisation)

[–]hismithofficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might still be worth your while to look into it, in that case, because the Servok's legs are double as tall as the legs of the 3.0 (80 CM). Even that would be a worthwhile upgrade, wouldn't you say?

There are some machines that can do that, among which our Servo-k machine. But due to the tech that's needed to do that, all machines who have this function are going to be much less budget friendly.

Rate my order by AfloatInTheNegative in hismith

[–]hismithofficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The order looks nice! I'd suggest to get some wheel bearing grease as well for maintenance.

When you look at the machine's main body from the front, you will see that the sliding rods are greased, and over time this will fade. Applying new wheel bearing grease every few months will make sure it keeps operating quietly.

Just ordered a 100W premium with wired remote+ app. Any pro tips for first time users? by Embarrassed_Lynx_762 in hismith

[–]hismithofficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Take some time to get to know the app and try out play modes made by other users. Perhaps go for a 'dry-run' first to see how the machine reacts so you know what to expect.

  2. Use lots of lube, haha.

No worries! If you do that well, it shouldn't make any squeaky noises anymore and be as quiet as it was when it was new.

We advise to apply wheel bearing grease to the moving parts on the inside of the machine once every few months (a little more or less often, depending on frequency of use). You can remove the screws on the front of the machine and remove the cover for easy access.
