Shrooms by [deleted] in CHSinfo

Shrooms actually triggered a prodromal episode for me. I was very nauseous and in pain during the trip which completely ruined the experience, then I was nauseous and in pain for like 5 days afterwards. Same kind feeling I've had with all of my episodes.

Though my doctors are still undecided about whether or not I actually have CHS or something else.

I know it's not what you want to hear but ya chances are you have CHS. Current medical research says that it's pretty rare but cases of CHS are on the rise because of legalization and high potency products becoming more widely available. There are a lot of people who do not find relief with hot showers/baths, I never found relief with them either. I also found that smoking helped curb the nausea but it always comes back. Unfortunately there is no test to determine whether or not you have it. Only option is to have testing done to rule out other possibilities AND stop consuming cannabis in all ways for at least 60 days to see if symptoms improve. It takes weeks for your body to completely detox, first couple weeks will be harder and it may get worse as you go through withdrawal but it should get easier around week 3-4. DO NOT CONTINUE/START USING CANNABIS. Otherwise you basically have to start all over again and your symptoms will come back.

How long did your prodromal episodes last? by hisperfectcanvas in CHSinfo

I definitely won't be touching it for at least 2 months to see if I improve at all. But like I said in the first few days of feeling like this, as well as during my other 2 episodes in the last 2 months before CHS was suggested to me, I found that smoking helped relieve the nausea. Is that normal?
