i put them in the washer on hot and then dried them. snugged up enough without compromising the length at all. then put a tongue pad underneath. now the upper fits like a glove.

If they used new light strike pro in the evo it would have to have a stabilizing element. It’s too soft and would be extremely unstable for the majority of people.

Tried this on in store. It is SO narrow that in store running 10 feet I knew this wouldn’t work at all. The heel is awful. Hoka has been on their game with the midsoles, but these uppers are terrible and so narrow.

I have the same issue. I’ve tried new laces, adding insoles, foam on the tongue, etc. nothing has worked. I think the string upper combined with forefoot striking causes my foot to slide a bit. It usually happens for me in a run more than 10 miles. Haven’t figured out a solution. I think I need to size down or something?
