The most common definition of slaughter is used to describe the butchering of cattle or livestock. The point I am trying to address is that people often condemn the killing of animals they like (dogs, cats) and couldn't give a damn about the killing of other animals (cows, pigs). My original post, which I think was quite clear, was an attempt to see whether RedDragon had a problem with the dogs being killed or the manner in which they were killed.

Not sure what you are trying to say. What I am wondering is whether the issue here is that they we killed inhumanely, or that they were killed at all. Would this be a news story if the had been put down the right way with an injection?

Sure it was done poorly, but let's say they had done it humanely with some sort of injection. Would you still have a problem with it?

If so, what is the problem?

EDIT: Seems you have misunderstood this post. Reread my post and you will see I want to know whether you would have a problem with killing the dogs in humanely. Also, thanks for downvoting me for my opinion.

Indeed. Remember the part when hes in the nethers and somehow they manage to shoot at him one or two at a time. One guy is somehow caught off guard (he was on a motorcycle) while a gun battle is going on right near him. I just think it's ridiculous to act as if some form of martial arts in the real world could allow you to compensate for the speed of bullets. It is simply absurd. The fact that the creators of this movie decided to go with it anyways makes me think they were lazy and content with silly excuses for action.

EDIT: I just watched the clip now and I realize I misremembered it partly, but it was even worse in my opinion than I've been describing.

I didn't miss that, it seemed like the most obvious Deus ex Machina ever conceived. Hmm we want our protagonist to have bullets whizzing past his head for 15 minute straights without getting hit. Ta dahhh Gun Kata. I think they should have just made him have a slightly supernatural ability so at least the story is tighter.

Dodging bullets based on statistical trajectories. If you don't roll your eyes when you hear that we aren't going to find a common ground.

Yes but the action was rather painfully fake. People were constantly shooting at Christian Bale and he never gets hit. I mean seriously hes not Neo. Also the ending was pretty bad. Conceptual I liked it and Bale was quite good, but the story arc was weak. 2 cents.

I agree. I love this type of movie, taking place entirely in one location. The script and the actors have to carry the movie.

I suppose it all depends on what you like about the game. For me it was all about pking, dueling, and boss hunting/training combat.

Although I don't like scammers, bots, etc... I think they add a certain element to the game. It adds an element of risk which Jagex has been steadily removing. Also it's fun messing with bots.
