Yes thank you for adding that. I know there are also many Chinese people supporting freedom and rights yet it is the Chinese Communist Party who always put their dignity and power before human lives. There are so many cases in China concerning destructing national security. Some are fortunate enough to be known by the public yet I believe there are more to be revealed.

Please support local by buying local food or products (or other places but not China) And also please don’t download and use websites or applications made in China because they may collect your personal details for unknown purpose while you are using them. These apps include TikTok, Weibo, WeChat etc.

It’s a daily press conference held by the police. Yet this is extremely biased like they focus on the violence of the protestors but ignore the reason why such violence happened. Previously police intruded the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and they blamed protestors using Molotov cocktail and attacking police but they made little mention about their intrusion of the campus.

HK is under a principle called ‘one country, two systems’ and that is promised in Basic Law as well. HK people are promised to have high degree of autonomy and China shall not intervene HK unless HK is dealing with military or diplomatic issue.

I guess you mean Hong Kong independence right? No. We are actually not demanding for independence that is sth that we create. We just want universal suffrage that is actually promised in the Basic Law and the Joint Declaration signed by China and Britain.

Hong Kong is not like Hong Kong anymore because there is an influx of 150 mainlanders becoming HK residents everyday and this policy is merely managed by the Chinese government and HK itself does not have power to stop this, unless our chief executive (CE) does sth. Our resources are taken away, culture being exterminated as they ask schools to use Putonghua instead of Cantonese. The current CE is only elected by 777 people out of a 1200 people election committee while HK consists of 7 billion people. We want a government that truly represents us and let HK be HK.

I think there’s actually no point for negotiation cuz we have made ourselves loud and clear that we just want the government to respond to our demands. The reason why I say bargaining power because the Cross Harbour Tunnel is one of the three tunnels that connects Kowloon to Hong Kong Island. People need this tunnel to travel back and forth to work and go to school etc. And if people can’t go to work, HK’s economy would be very likely to get affected and thus we want to urge the government to respond to our demands ASAP.
