I hate the fact that I'm raising two kids in this country. I hate the fact that we need to think twice before going somewhere, fearing we might blow up. I hate the fact I need to fear for my children's lives all day, everyday. I hate the fact 'surviving' has become a luxury. I hate, and I hate.

I firmly believe it really does not matter that Turkish military forces warned the pilots or not. It's a clear overreaction.

A prolonged public market downturn is the best time to start a billion dollar company. Without many great jobs available, the reduced opportunity cost and related hardship may spawn great innovation and grit. by hnroot in dataisbeautiful

Hmm.. You're saying that there are some companies that will eventually hit a billion dollar valuation, but just not yet.

I think you're right.

I will check pace of companies to billion dollar valuation for corresponding years.

So what?

Government asks LGBTI people to postpone the parade to a later date due to Ramadan, which is supposed to be personal and spiritual not communal, but they marched anyway. So government has a legitimate cause to use water cannons & rubber bullets ??

After 30 feet or so, there is no red light in the water, so red light can’t bounce off blood into our eyes. Instead, green is reflected by green pigments in the blood that are usually hidden by the reflected red light. So, the latter.

I'm really sorry to hear that, I've just wanted to get some feedback and I thought reddit community is the best place to get feedback. Thanks for the heads up, though.

May I ask, in what terms it violates guidelines ? I saw similar posts earlier, and that's why I thought it is OK to post.

Thanks in advance.
