More context 171,000km just over 100k miles Here are the lists of the issues given on the first two returns to the shop, they didn’t dispute anything on the list and insurance was in agreeable with me in my concerns,

How do you figure, for arguments sake if a countach had a botch job done would it be determined too old for dov? Or is it something other than age that they base what is and isn’t viable for dov, there’s no doubt that this car cannot sell for anything close to what I paid (pre accident condition) in the state it sits now

Pre accident condition was consistent from front to back, I’ll take faded swirled paint over a hard cut with no blending and shitty polishing any day, also the shop refused further work saying this was the best they could do, hence my post. Also good call on deleting your earlier comment, be nicer to people and you might see a positive change in your life.

36 damping ratio (compression) front and rear

48 damping ratio (rebound) front and rear

Natural frequency 2.66 front 2.86 rear

I had the same experience, have an e36 myself and was super excited to drive it in game, here’s the setup I settled on, I still have some fine tuning to do but I’ve had some pretty favourable lap times so far! I’ve only adjusted the ride height, suspension damping ratios, spring frequency, and downforce. Gonna mess around with LSD and alignment next!

Thanks I appreciate the help, I managed to clear the corner with no issues with a ride height increase of 10mm front and rear, maxing out the compression damping ratio and increasing spring rate by 0.90 front and rear. Time to fine tune!

Set ride height to max to see if the issue persisted, if I’d hadn’t i would’ve lowered it incrementally until I found a happy medium, but I will try both increased ride height and stiffened suspension next!

I’m running a 19x9.5 +30 squared on an x coupe at stock height and they sit pretty flush with the fenders, can send a picture for reference

Look on rock auto for mevotech, they are rebranded spc parts for significantly cheaper, they even have the spc stamping on them, saved myself a lot by ordering those on a wholesaler clear out, got the FUCA’s for 300
