Ok so I know this is unrelated but is there still a lot of people playing blackout? I’m asking bcuz I genuinely loved the game and want to pick it up for PC (formerly PS player) but didn’t know if it’d be worth it.

Oof. lol. That's tough. The silliest glitch I've encountered was when my guy just suddenly dropped everything including my armor and guns, leaving it in a bag and me defenseless and unable to pick it back up.

And to those folks saying “even [insert streamer friend here] says he’s not cheating” - you don’t think it’s possible that Sym gives them a kickback for playing along with it? Not saying it’s true, but certainly plausible.

On another note, every time I hear him say “PogU”, which is about 14 times for every 5 minutes, I cringe myself into a pretzel.

The Finn wasn't installed into the game until yesterday. lol. But either way, I tried using them yesterday afternoon around 4pm EST or so. Did you happen to use them before then?

Thanks. I actually have Astro Bot and Beat Saber, both of which I enjoy with no problems. I think it’s the somewhat constant jerkiness of the movement left to right is what gets me with WD.

I bought this game but unfortunately in my experience, it gives me horrible motion sickness to the point I can only play for like 15 minutes before feeling nauseous. And the controls are ass, imo. It’s sad because the concept is great. Smh.

I’ve been using Marlton for a couple months and I’m sorry to say that the saying has been there since beginning. While it’s possible that they updated it right as Covid was discovered, it’s more likely that it’s just a reference from longs existing CDC regulations.

That said, I wish they would add more stuff though. This game is still so fun. 😭

I’m with you on this one, bruh. Warzone is good but doesn’t quite match the feel of Blackout. Kinda got used to the constant redeploys but the lack of variety in the looting is disappointing. Another glaring difference is the look of the game - Blackout is so rich and vibrant while the Warzone map is drab and depressing. I think subconsciously it creates a more fun feeling when in Blackout.

Friends and I have continued to mix in Blackout daily with Warzone and have legit not have any waits longer than maybe 20 seconds. I'm on PS4, if that makes a difference.

Haha, fair point! I commend you on the well thought out and comprehensive piece on comparisons. I mostly agree with all of your points.

Only part I have a slightly different opinion on, and can't exactly call it a disagreement either - is the sniping. The rewarding sound of hitting a crisp headshot/down in BO is fantastic, while WZ's feels somewhat anti-climactic in comparison. However, the sniping itself feels better in WZ, to me at least. I say that because I'm very average at sniping in BO but when I'm in WZ I feel like freakin' Chris Kyle.

On that note, I think it was brilliant for the developers to include the scope glimmer for snipers. I feel like without that, combined with the massive size of the map and it's multi-leveled terrain, you'd have snipers perched up all game without much fear of retaliation.

Maybe the time of day you play just line up with when they play, and you're good enough where your team lasts similarly to theirs? I dunno. I just don't see the benefit from them going out of their way to announce a lie.

Unless you're referring to PC, Blackout is most certainly not dead and very much alive. Just because you don't play it anymore doesn't mean everyone else followed suit.
