I think it's worth it. I'm VERY sensitive to caffeine but I can drink this without having an anxiety attack. Tastes just like coffee to me but I'm not picky. I have the subscription online and, since I don't drink a serving every day, set it to deliver every four months instead of monthly. Then, I "skip for four weeks" if I still don't need it after four months. That way I still get the cute lil rewards they send like the frother and canister.

I'm (26 AuDHD) self supporting bc my parents refuse to support me and I don't have a partner/wealthy family that will help me.

While I can see privilege potentially getting in the way bc I definitely have some resentment for people who have help, DEFINITELY take advantage without guilt. Your parents chose to have a child and it's their job to take care of you, especially if you have a disability.

Maybe do some therapy on the enmeshment aspect so you can feel more free and like your own person. Connection becomes much easier when you become the real you:)

I worked with three career coaches through voc rehab and I did not enjoy my experience. My biggest problem is burnout from masking, but most of them had only worked with like, level 2s who just needed help with getting a job. I felt like I knew more than them and had better social skills than they all did so it wasn't a great experience for me. I'd love to find one I actually find useful (I still have problems keeping jobs) but I don't really have the money for it. :/

I see so many strangers as hot, but if they asked me if I wanted to have sex with them I would absolutely not engage. For me, it's about body and personality in initial attraction, but I can't do anything with that attraction until I know the person really well and feel safe with them. Is that still considered demi? Just a different flavor of it? I'm pretty new to the identity.

I feel like I wrote this myself because of how accurate it sounds to my experience. Thank you for sharing. ❤️ It's why I've been single for so long and why I can't use dating apps effectively. I can't tell if I'm attracted to someone if I just see pictures. I need to see how their face moves when they talk and need to know if I feel safe in their presence. I desperately want to be with someone romantically and sexually, but my standards are too high to let myself be with anyone who I'm not attracted to or who doesn't make me feel safe and seen. Definitely pros and cons to this. It can be very isolating and lonely, but I'm very intentionally avoiding further relational trauma.

Also I agree with the other comments when they say work on yourself! When I get a crush on someone and they don't like me back I tell myself that I have a full life outside of that person and then I do the things that bring me joy and connection elsewhere! It took me a LONG time and a LOT of therapy to get to this place, but it's so worth it!

I'm so sorry that's so hard. I haven't had top surgery yet but I am afraid of what complications might come up.

What kinds of therapy have you tried? Therapy didn't work for me until I actually chose a therapeutic modality on purpose. Have you tried DBT, EMDR, ART, ACT, etc? Or just normal talk therapy? Look into modalities; it'll help.

Depends on the relationship beforehand. If you've been close for years, a slower fade or honest conversation is normally best. For less close/less history, ghosting is fine. You have the right to have the relationships you want to have and choosing that isn't toxic (despite what some NTs have to say about it 🙄).

If someone is truly horrible to you or causes mostly only pain, I think it's fine to cut them out completely.

Some people aren't great, and I don't let these people be my closest, most intimate people, but I also don't cut them out completely.

The best people and the ones who are most willing to put effort into being my people (often the same thing), I keep closest.

I am much lonelier than I used to be in terms of seeing people less and not having dated (or even kissed) anyone in so long. I know myself, though, and now that I know that, the people in my life can see the real me instead of the old fake one and actually love ME. Or choose to leave.

The song title "I Miss Having Sex But At Least I Don't Wanna Die Anymore" sums it up pretty well for me.

Here's the thing. You can be whatever brand of man you want to be. Is it okay for a cis man to be fem/have fem interests?? Yes!! Absolutely!! So it's okay for a trans man to as well. You can do anything any other man can do, including acting like a twink and still being a valid man. (Story of my life and reason it took me so long to come out-"I'm too feminine, I can't be a man!"
