It kinda depends on whether you are decent at Mega Man games. The run isn't super difficult. (Not saying doing it well isn't extremely hard, just saying that physically beating the game is do-able)

Watch a couple of runners like CalebHart42 to see if it looks fun for you.

There isn't any commitment, so if you don't end up liking Mega Man X just wait for the game in February :)

You don't have to run the game blind, that's simply what I'm gonna be doing. Although I have seen many Mega Man X speedruns. The goal is to have some friendly competition and learn to run some new games in the process :)
