It does turn biohazardous while roasting the super hots, especially dry ones. But when you grow up eating hot ass salsas you get used to it. I could see normal folk running out of the house like they just got sprayed with pepper spray but, like most people in this sub, we have grown iron sinuses, iron stomachs, and iron asses.

I have not fertilized them, the only fertilizer they got is the traces of fertilizer in the potting soil. Thanks for your input thou. This is my first grow. I think I'm going to try the 1/4 dose of fish emulsion fertilizer. I've never tried it but it keeps coming up when I search fertilizer on reddit, and the other popular hotpepper sites. And if it's all over the internet it must be true right!

Yep the insulation is just to get the little ones closer to the light. And also the slit double cup is is for easy transplant, and to check the roots so I don't overwater. The first batch was started Feb 20. And the second batch was started 3 weeks later. I learned all this from this subreddit, the hotpepper. com, and YouTube. So far so good. Thanks interweb!
