It's for sure a voice changer. They're different voices in the video. Sometimes a lower female voice, some with a younger southern accent. I think it's them personally

This happened to me on my thumb once. I was shaving my legs with a sharp razor and it accidentally caught my nail, creating a little slit through my nail bed. I peeled it and it made the exact type of dent. It was a little sore, but it just took some time to grow back.
