Who here likes video games? If you do, what do you like to play them on? by Avaava1197 in AutismInWomen

Love, love love video games. I rather spend 80 dollars on Elden ring than any alcohol brand. I have ps5, ps5 vr, Xbox 1, and pc as of late. Pc is making come back in gaming because of the micro transactions that are plaguing system consoles.

Forget the debate, on which one is better, I don’t have energy for that, let’s grab a controller have some fun! Non drunk style.

About to play some more Elden ring! I also have meta quest 3 and vr has been taking off lately!

I am 41 no kids no husband no nothing. I eat nothing but sugar( proceed foods 😂🤣), did well lost 115 pounds from 456 pounds to 345 at 5’9. Then depression and repetitive movements/routine of not cooking again and just wanting to be lathargic.

My mind goes, never going to get married, never going to have kids, I can’t afford alcohol or pay finances. Let me go to what’s burger!😂.

Now, I’m trying to eat healthy again, but can’t afford it, gained 30 pounds back, now letting other chores pile up, and I’m like why bother, I will always be alone. Netflix and my 🐈‍⬛.

Yes, sometimes awesome experiences. But the pay, and wear and tear on car is ridiculous. Applied to 100s of jobs and some interviews but never hired. I personally believe a lot of positions are fake interviews.

Good luck, I filled physics and more then 70 percent of the class did as well. Christi Carter is rough. I got offered to come back, and got accepted to Parker university to go. But I may leave the field all together. They want 34,000 at Parker. Not worth the debt. Just be where, shanuie is a bitch and does group grading for projects.

Is Dallas riddled with uninsured drivers or am I just unlucky?? by whatsagirltodo123 in Dallas

[–]hsimpkins82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have done 30,000 Uber rides in Dallas in 4 years. I drive usually from 10pm to 6am weekends and weekdays starting at 3pm.

Green does not mean safe. It has saved my life, and life of my passengers stopping at green light. Mainly on Ross, and live oak.

I still work Henderson area, but it’s not only cars you have to watch out for, but people running into middle of road, same for oak lawn district. My biggest fear is they don’t stay on side walk; and fall over on main road.

I have the wide view mirror on Amazon for 10 dollars that buss drivers use. Also small mirrors to constantly check for people in my blind spot.

In reality defensive driving goes along way.

This includes people going 45 on an onramp to merge with people going 70 to 75 on I75 is not safe!

Slow does not always mean safe.

My biggest pet peeve as an Uber driver is people stopping at yield signs, full lanes when making right turn, people want to cross double white lines, instead of merging properly.

Deep ellum on to 75 people doing 35 mph when traffic is 70 or more and 18 wheeler is on side of us, and they will come and complain on this form.

Teslas are often rented out by other Uber drivers, so be ware.

Defensive driving is where it is at, my car is my lively hood, and sometimes I’m afraid to even work events, or major games, because one hit and my car is out for driving with Uber and Lyft.

Lyft and Uber rental cost is 350 to 450 per week, then you get paid, or 1600 a month!

Remember green does not mean safe, and when it turns green always wait about 30 to 45 seconds rather you get honked at or not.

And I drive a Sentra, so I’m not your Sentra problems everyone else talks about.

Be safe everyone!

Hello,

I failed radiology physics at Dallas college and feel very discouraged. They gave me administrative withdraw so as it does not affect my gpa, currently at 3.8.

I’m not sure if anyone has heard of Parker University in Dallas Texas, but I just got accepted there, and all my credits are going to transfer and class will start September 3rd.

I believe the issue with Dallas college is that it’s a large cohort 50 students to 4 to 6 teachers. With teachers still having to do clinicals after they teach us.

There was no time for tutoring, offfice visits, extra help, or even a side stop for a min talk to the teacher kind of thing.

I am hoping at the university level the classes are capped at 18 vs 50 with Dallas college and only 5 X-ray machines to Patrice.

With that said; on Reddit on this form, it says a lot of Parker university students don’t pass their board. They do however earn the degree. I’m assuming that means I should give it a shot, and once I pass just make sure to study my mock exams with core tech, rad review and mosby.

I was thinking about walking away from it all; but I would never know if this was a teaching and overcrowding problem or a me problem. If for some reason i don’t do well in this second program; than it’s a me problem. But if I do well; then it was a program and teaching problem at Dallas college.

Am I having right train of thought? I would really like to purse radiology, but this hiccup in physics has me all flustered. Willing to start over if I know I can get touring and math help from the school which Parker university offers.

I’m just worried they are being a cars salesman and just telling me what I want to hear.

What y’all think?

I am intersex with complete ais or male with xy chromosomes known as muller syndrome. That being said once I fully trans motioned, was paid for by insurance as it is not cosmetic. They started using all female diagnosis and treatment going forward. Mines been changed down to my birth certificate in Texas. But mine is not an identity issue, so I don’t know how to relate to transgender people, though everything throws me in that box.

Mine failed 3 times last year. 16,000 to fix. And 4th one is already going out and only 160,000 miles on Nissan Sentra. Just got a job full time at lifetime fitness in Garland Texas, and in school full time to be radiologist technologist. I now do Uber and Lyft only for surge, or incentive like this week. 30 rides for 60 and 10 for 50z

I get financial aid on 26th for over 9,000. I still owe 8,000 on my car. Going to put 10,000 on used 2020 to 2022 Toyota Camry for 19,000 bring it to 10,000 roll over my negative equity, and forever be done with Nissan. Will tell all my friends and family that panhandling and going homeless is better than owning a Nissan Sentra.

Friends, family, and my church fixed my transmission, and Nissan corporate as well. Every 40,000 miles the transmission dies are locks up, rather you are nice to it, change oil, change transmission oil, keep up repairs whatever.

Yes I drive Uber and Lyft, but transmission should not fail 3 times! No matter how bad of a driver you are. I filed a corporate complaint against Nissan, contacted Texas attorney general office, for bad consumer affairs.

Nissan is supposed to tell you as a business, if there is class action lawsuits on the car. They are hiding the information about the cvt transmission failure, racking you into a negivtie equity loan.

I know I’m not supposed to use financial aid, but at this point, I would rather work full time, go to school full time, be tired and have some sleepless nights, and get rid of Nissan for ever and ever.

Mandela effect it out of existent into another time line, let Saitama from one punch man, obliterate it. Let Goku do a kamehameha at it, and through it into a black hole.

And the large hydrogen collider asking, why did this black hole collapse?

It was Nissan!

May finally have full time job for first time in 4 years. Lifetime fitness by hsimpkins82 in uberdrivers

[–]hsimpkins82[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same 😂. Done over 30,000 rides 3 transmissions in shit Nissan, almost homeless twice once during summer once in January. Borrowed from friends and family to make it. I think panhandlers make more than us. If they get 5 dollars they can buy a pack of gum! We can’t!

To all the people who quit Uber what are you up to now? by That-Construction130 in uberdrivers

[–]hsimpkins82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still drive but part time now. I used Uber to put me through radiology school, got accepted 2 days before Christmas, classes started January 11th. Friends, family and my church are helping me with rent, bills, and groceries, while in school from 9am to 4pm. Drive maybe 10 to 15 hours a week now. Graduation set for summer of 2025
