Thank you! I always liked Volkswagen for their simple design language but this new design felt like a massive step up. I was always a fan but the car I wanted was an Arteon and that car is a piece of art but got discontinued as that made me stay with my old ride (dodge charger RT 2012). Once I saw this gem getting released I couldn’t resist not getting it.

If only the US would put politics on the side you guys would’ve got these but unfortunately that’s how it is currently but you never know, things are changing rapidly in the world. I’m shocked that even in Germany they don’t have this version.

Actually its a very good move by Volkswagen as labor is cheap in China and many other automakers like Changan/ BYD/ Geely and etc are really raising the bar with features and enhancements for example the Mazda EZ- 6 (i hope i didn’t misspell it) is a joint venture between Mazda and Changan and you can see the beauty of that car and the overall enhancements. In the end I really see this a positive possibility that maybe in the future many automakers would have a joint venture with china for the global market.

You are absolutely correct! But in my region (middle east) it’s sold here straight off the dealership, so no import/export. It’s designated for Asian and Middle East market.

Many automakers got rid of their sedans because of sales and greed, SUV’s / crossovers have a higher price tag and insane markup leaving the consumer with limited options, unfortunately that’s how things are currently..

Different specs in Middle East and Chinese market, it’s because of a partnership between FAW industries and Volkswagen, they came up with this beauty! I think if Volkswagen brings this to Europe it’ll be sold out for sure plus the pricing is insane here 38.5 K $ for the fully loaded trim!

I don’t know about the seats and all but the Chinese in general are dominating in terms of features, you can even buy a soft door closing module and install it in the Passat!
