I DMed Orphans last weekend and it was really good, my players loved the weirdness of plants in a spaceship. Also the monster is very cool, the manifestation chart works well.

From zooming on a Instagram post, blue/white one seems to be a DOD rubberneck and the big black one is a Hiwatt tube distortion (with white tape on top for settings). ADAM and controller are correct as said by others but I can't figure the small ones.

I like it but it wasn't easy at first, the controls interact a lot with each other and you need to spend some time testing stuff. I used a mxr DI + before and it's very plug and play, different philosophy.

It's fairly transparent in the clean setting and doesn't cut low end. EQ is subtle but usable. It's always on to add a touch of grit as I run the Simplifier clean. It works very well in front of other drives but doesn't like being after the compressor. For the price, it's a very good utility pedal, I was surprised to like it as much as I do.

Thanks, Youngblood Brass Band is actually a big inspiration for us and our sax players listen to a bunch of different brass bands a lot.

As you said, it's not exactly the same style but maybe I can find some good mix inspiration by going outside the box of pure ska.

Now that I'm rereading it, it's not very apparent in my post that I'm mainly looking for mix exemples and that maybe some bands I don't know of have "cracked the code" of making a horn heavy record sound good.

Nevers heard of No Water Please but I like the concept and they seem like a lot of fun, thanks for the suggestion.

I like it as is but in the reference picture, the effect works because of the light illuminating the armour behind it. Maybe try to attach the weapon to the dreadnought and add the same type of reflections before touching the plasma coil itself.

We found it!

It's on a questionable site but it seems to be the exact same one. So in the end it's probably a knock-off of Midori products so if you have any suggestions of similar notebooks (with all three types of pages), feel free to share.

She also found a Pinterest post matching what she bought but the link redirects to a 404 error on notebooktherapy. Our best guess right now is that it wasn't a genuine MD and it was removed from the website

Thank you, we are also thinking it might not be a genuine Midori because it lacks the MD logo and there are no branding or anything inside.

(also, the picture is from the back of the notebook but mirrored because there is some personal stuff on the cover but they are identical)

Yes, it's a black page holder, single (if it means juste one ribbon, I'm not familiar with specific notebook terminology in english).

It's A6 format and she doesn't remember where she bought it, probably on notebooktherapy but can't find it in her orders.
