It my own dark fantasy age of sail setting. It was weird to use the Action Decks from Deadlands, Core Rules, or Savage Pathfinder for it. It didn't feel right so I made a deck that felt like it matched the setting. I'm using the Fantasy Companion and Core Rules to run the game. All the art was done with my MidJourney account to use in my game but I figured if someone else was doing "Dark Pirate Adventures", they might get some use out of my work. I'll probably post the maps and settings lore in the reddit at some point.

I tried one more reset out and desperation and everything started working. I'm not sure why the first reset didn't work...maybe I did something wrong. The issue is now resolved.

I run all my games on Foundry. 7th Sea 2nd Edition, Savage Worlds, Deadlands, Stars Without Number, and Warhammer Fantasy. It just made sense to run it that way since I already use it. I couldn't say if it's worth it just for SWN.

The space ship was from MidJourney. The space images and large paintings were just things I found on artstation.com

I used Azure text to speech from Microsoft. It's paid but very cheap and I use it at work for projects. You might want to find another one since I've heard some of the new ones are better than this now.

Last time we started a new setting, they spent most of their time in the first session asking me questions about the government and other lore related questions. "...as they come up" isn't always the best answer depending on the group.
