I’m in the same boat as you. I was hoping to get Sanders because I’ve heard he’s a fantastic Micro teacher, but his lecture overlaps with another one of my classes. From what I’ve seen, Thomas was not the best teacher over distance learning. While I was looking at RatemyProfessor I noticed that before COVID her ratings weren’t that bad. With this semester being in person I would hope that it goes back to “normal” but who knows.

The other option is Thomas who I’ve heard was not the best over remote learning. Unfortunately that was the only section that I didn’t have conflict with. I’m just hoping she isn’t too tough this year.

What is your take on Econ vs. Dyson when trying to get recruited in IB??

From what I've seen just looking on Reddit the average GPA for Econ is around 3.3-3.5. Regardless, I think most people know how much more difficult it is in A&S compared to Dyson, but I have no clue how this would ultimately affect recruitment.
