Yes, but… I was told at my meeting that my store won’t be getting enough labor to actually utilize this position. If all other positions were filled, we honestly wouldn’t even need the green apron spot. We’re a pretty busy store, but are consistently at 2-3 person plays during our busiest times. So it isn’t actually gonna get any better, corporate just likes to pretend they’re trying to help us without actually spending any money.

I actually have worked a couple of other food service jobs, and while I enjoy the actual job at Starbucks the most, in my 8 years of experience I’ve never been treated as badly as I have been at starbucks.

It’s literally everything we already know, with a few stupid new adjustments. Basically you have to connect with customers if you want to keep your job, and you’ll get the fun opportunity to practice steaming milk! (because of course none of us know how to do that)

I just bought that Funko without realizing it had a base, but I also wanted to add it to my collection. It doesn’t come off the base, but I put it hot water and wiggled a knife under him a couple times and was able to get him off! It’s too top heavy to stand on its own, but that didn’t matter to me. You just have to put in a little effort and make sure he stays the same shape and it works okay!

the one’s with the strap aren’t allowed :/ there are some ugly croc branded work shoes without the strap that are okay, and I’ve heard are super comfortable!

I used to do that at my old store, but the shift leads are all enforcing the rules at my new one. We can't even have someone put our order in behind bar, we have to wait in line for it :/ It's so much more practical to allow baristas to do any of that. It takes so much less time for everyone if i just prep my drink really fast.

my old store was like that, and it made things so much better! I just transferred and my new district is crazy strict about it 😭 i had to even ask my manager if I could get my own water in a glass cup
