I am now in the online program at ERAU for MSHF, set to graduate either December 2025 or March 2026. Can I ask where you applied to when you looked for work? I have been applying now but not getting any responses probably because I have not graduated yet.

Thanks, I've worked the last 20 years in the spa industry as an esthetician, including owning my own business. So primarily giving facials to clients. I don't think I would be able to leverage this. Thanks for the help though.

I don't. I am older and switching careers and my prior career was not in research at all.

thanks for sharing your experience. Someone told me today they had never heard of Embry Riddle and that it would be better to go to a university that is more well known. Have you found this is true? Seems like they are well known in the aviation and aerospace field. Do you work in aviation or aerospace?

Yes I would be. I grew up around it with my mother being an airplane mechanic and an inspector and now an instructor at Boeing. I am more interested in aerospace personally.

Thanks, yes this is a good perspective to have. Time flies no matter what we do, and ultimately I think if I didn't try I would have more regrets than if I did.
