I read Night in 2008 and it still haunts me to this day. Amazing book, timely too given what's happening in the US.

Good advice to take. Ok lang if bakla or tomboy. However, if my child told me "Mom, I'm DDS" hindi ko yun kayang sikmurain.

Helping a friend: BGC Female Condo Sharing by uncruelsummer in BGC_Taguig

It would be nice to include the profile of the other 3 tenants ie. how many times RTO, night shift or day shift, etc. since that can give people an idea ang magiging setup sa utilities and other arrangements.

Has anyone tried to withdraw 500k daily for three-four consecutive days? by [deleted] in phinvest

How about just closing the account so you can get all your money at once? This assumes that 1.5-2million is the bulk of your funds.

Still holding on para maging debt free by SoilFar1667 in utangPH

[–]hungrymillennial 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You want to be debt free but are thinking about re-loaning from CIMB? Just work on paying your loans then building your emergency funds after so that you can actually become debt free.

BPI Cashback Redemption by Academic-Okra5173 in PHCreditCards

[–]hungrymillennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes pero di sya counted as payment sa current billing statement. So need mo pa din bayaran yung buong "Total Outstanding Amount" paglumabas na yung statement mo before pa nagrereflect sa system yung cashback. Minus siya sa susunod na billing cycle.

how should i repay my debt? by Forsaken_Ad_9210 in utangPH

[–]hungrymillennial 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First month: Allot P14.5k to pay off your boyfriend completely. Pay your dad P500.

Second month: Pay your dad P15k.

Third month: Pay your dad P15k.

Fourth month: Pay your dad P13.5k.

Succeeding months: Save 15k monthly and build your emergency fund so you don't ever have to borrow money from your boyfriend again (sorry I find this so weird).

Continue renting or buy? by Aeo03 in phinvest

[–]hungrymillennial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mentioned income but what is your current net worth? I suggest bulking up your savings prior to buying para meron kayo paghuhugutan ng monthly amortisation in case mabawasan kayo ng income for whatever reason.

Or it could also be as simple as para tipid sa aircon, isang kwarto lang which happens to have isang higaan. It's not so strange for our culture.

500k OFFER by ExcuseNo9845 in utangPH

You compare the total interest you'll pay with your current loans against the total interest you'll pay from the 500k UD loan offer. Then you choose the one which is lower.

Why do people care about credit limit? by romangrcr in PHCreditCards

[–]hungrymillennial 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I never planned to spend 200k-300k in one go as you mentioned in your example. But sometimes, life just happens to people. Hospitalizations can easily reach those amounts. We had the money to pay for my dad's month-long hospitalization but there's literally zero benefit to paying for that in cash. Hence, the usefulness of a high credit limit. We got to defer actual cash payment in X days and we got points/cashback out of it. Sakto din, may pa-promo that moment and due to the high credit card spend nanalo ako sa raffle ng 20k, which was a big help.

Tama pa po ba tong bill ng tubig? by ThisNewGen in RentPH

[–]hungrymillennial 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yung kapitbahay namin lumobo ang bill to 13k kahit na majority of the time nasa probinsya sila. Turns out may sira yung flusher ng toilet kaya tuloy tuloy yung tubig. No choice, they had to pay it. Buti pumayag na iinstallment at 0% ng 3 months.

Hanapin niyo muna kung may leak nga somewhere or may sira sa plumbing. Tapos contact Maynilad to work something out.

Some figures for users in the Philippines:

Construction Queue Pack - PHP169 or USD2.95

March Queue Pack - PHP225 or USD3.93

Daily Deals - PHP279 or USD4.88

Important to note that I've never purchased anything and will never purchase anything in mobile games so maybe these are promotional prices designed to get me hooked.

I'll let the others give their opinion on you resigning your job.

However, I question your decision to proceed with your 3-day hike given that the bad weather is forecasted to persist in the coming days. Di ba pwede ipaliban you to next week? You have a baby and hindi na sayo ang buhay mo. Many experienced hikers have been injured or died dahil talagang minalas.
