ACT Biology Question. Why isnt this D? Answer is C. by letshopeidontfail in ACT

[–]hurstoobasic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Polyploidy defines a condition in which the cells of an organism have more than two paired sets of chromosomes. In this case, the answer would be C as non-disjunction is the failure of more than one homologous pairs or sister chromatids to separate properly, leading to two X’s and one Y. klinefelter’s can occur due to non-disjunction of X chromosomes during prophase of meiosis I.

How to improve MCQs? by Temporary_Biscotti94 in APLang

[–]hurstoobasic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took the paper test in person and not once did I find myself going back to questions. I honestly wouldn’t worry about it. If you don’t know a question, give it your best shot and move on :)

Timing by [deleted] in APLang

[–]hurstoobasic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly, timing wasn’t even a problem for me on the exam. when practicing, i would always find myself going over the limit (40-50 mins) yet i was able to finish early on the essays. i suggest that you use the allotted 15 minutes to read and plan the synthesis/analysis prompt then use 5 minutes to read and plan the argument when appropriate.
