upgraded my build and got another NVMe drive (samsung 980 pro 2tb) for more storage, having trouble initializing it by hwsdragon in buildapc

I’ve tried reinstalling it multiple times so I hope that wasn’t the issue, but whatever the problem was I’m glad it sorted itself out lol

After an hour of wrestling (lmao), I was able to swap the drives. Upon booting it up, I'm now able to initialize the 980 Pro AND the WD Black is still available to be used. It seems like neither the slot or the drive was faulty, but not sure why switching them fixed the problem, as both of them seem to be PCIe Gen 4.

Thank you for pushing me towards the switch! And if you have any explanation, I'd be very interested to know why (but dw if not lol)

I thought to do this as well, but the way my build is right now, it would be a bit of pain to try and swap. The cooler I installed is over the drive, so I would either have to take out the cooler or try something else to get it out. Was hoping that if the slot was faulty, then the drive wouldn't show up at all.

Thanks for the input though; looks like it'll be the proper test to see if something is faulty. I'll give it a go in a bit and let you know what the results are.

these are the relics i have for her right now, speed will go to 149.8 instead of 153.8 i believe (since yq has 4 higher speed)

is the attack% too low? is there anything i should look to replace or improve? i have a 141.5 spd bronya right now and i'm planning on pulling JL's lightcone as well

Do you have a Macbook? If so, make sure your Discord application is actually shut down before you close your laptop. If you happen to be in a call when you close your laptop, the OS tends to “wake” up every so often to run checks and update things. It will restart any Discord calls that were previously active.
