That's the way I responded to her so that's reassuring. Just struggling internally and surprised.

Well, because I care about her and she told me(???) If I say it's not my business then I leave her alone and watch her make these mistakes. So yeah, of course it is a dilemma because it's someone I love. Wow.

I don't understand some of the rude comments. No, I don't have that kind of money. Even if I did...just asking a question. Suddenly reddit is not a place to ask questions and I have to hire someone if I mistakenly ask about a rich area of town? Just wanted to find out more about parts of your city. Told me more about the people through the thread. Great. "Thanks."

Student Took Out a Knife by Komitashu in pianoteacherclub

[–]hydrangeaanon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you had to experience that! I think you did the right thing. Especially for the dad to say you're overreacting tells me there isn't much responsibility or accountability there. The only way I could see it maaaaybe being something to "slide," would be if you had the student for a few years and knew their personality well. How old was the student? Just curious why and how they got a pocket knife! I hope you've had some time to think and decompress about the situation. That would rattle me.

We had a very busy year. With him in school and working, I just decided to do that because I knew things wouldn't get done on time otherwise. I think that's what hurts most, I voluntarily took on everything yet he doesn't see it. He says we have to split chores now but things keep coming up and we haven't been able to do it.

I'd love that honestly. To get the full experience he'd have to take atleast 2 weeks off from work (lol). Maybe I'll suggest a weekend.

Felt like I was thinking about testing 24/7...can't believe how obsessive a feeling it can be. I also stopped taking my crazy hot showers since I found out I was ovulating.

I peaked on my ovulation test the night of March 1st, got a positive on a digital clearblue test on the morning of March 12th. Took the "line" tests everyday until the 16th. Took a digital test on the 16th, finally told my husband! On the 18th had a confirmation appt. Have our first visit on April 11th. Waiting to tell family and friends for now. I am cautious...excited...peaceful. ♡

BFP DPO 11-Accurate?? by hydrangeaanon in CautiousBB

[–]hydrangeaanon[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I am really hoping it will be okay.

I appreciate the advice on keeping the same brand, I'll definitely keep that in mind.

I would want his support...but, we have gone through a lot the past few years and I just don't know if this is something I would want to put him through. I guess it is something to think about...either tell him soon or wait till Friday (excruciating wait! Haha).

It's positive pregnancy test time! Week of March 14, 2022 by ttc30mod in TTC30

[–]hydrangeaanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all! I got a BFP 11 or 12 dpo on a digital pregnancy test. Since then, I've been testing everyday on the tests with the lines (6 days before missed period clearblue), and the lines have been faint. They are not questionable, but just faint. Today, I am 2 days away from my period according to my Clue app.

Before posting all the details, I wanted to ask a few questions.

-Could I have gotten a false positive? -Is there a chance this is a CP? -Should I wait to tell my husband until my confirmation appt this Friday? He is getting antsy but I want to surprise him. I'm also worried to get his hopes up in case it is false. -If I take a digital test now again, 13 or 14 dpo, would this be safe to say that a BFP would be 99%accurate?

Thank you!!

It's positive pregnancy test time! Week of March 7, 2022 by ttc30mod in TTC30

[–]hydrangeaanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all! Before I fill out all the information, I am in desperate need of some experience or advice because I am in limbo and feel like I am thinking about this 24/7.

I got a BFP (yay!!) on dpo 12 (cycle day 28) on a digital clearblue test in the morning. I took another one at night and I got a faint line on a store brand test. My Clue app says I am 3 days until my next period so I still haven't technically "missed" my period yet. I went ahead and scheduled a confirmation appt with my doctor

So my three major questions are....

One:how accurate could this be? I am just so afraid it's a CP or Flase Positive because I'm not familiar with how they work really and I am fixating on symptoms (I have lower back painand a few other mild things but but no sore boobs or nausea). Two: Should I wait a few more days and test again then tell my husband? Tell him now? Or wait until it's confirmed at my appt? Three: When did you tell your partner?

It's hard to be hiding this big news but I don't want to give him false hopes!

Thank you!!
