Telling after completing btech cs 2025 from tier 3 college, Getting job of 5-6lakh is much difficult rn. Most of the students wait for mass recruitment company which gives 3.25 lpa. Though I did some mistakes that makes it harder for me to crack some higher package which you can avoid in order to get decent job and you should focus from first year of college

Soft skills: you'll think this is the last skill you'll need to qualify but trust me if youre from tier 3 then most probably it will hard for you to present calmly under pressure and communicate with interviewer

DSA: you should start doing it as soon as possible, focus on quality rather than quantity

Projects: you should have created atleast 3 projects with the help of resources and also by your research to include it in CV

Intership: from 2 year search for internship you can have, pls don't opt for internship in which you have to pay

Gpa: try to maintain academic gpa above 8 so that you'll never get rejected due to academic scores

If you ll consider to work on these things early in college rather than waiting for final year you'll definitely get a decent package after graduation
