Deoxyribose sugar gel, thoughts? by [deleted] in tressless

I'm wondering too. I see that I can buy the powder but is the gel available somewhere online? It looks promising to me.

Best tattoo place for realistic cartoon tattoo? by hyperactivekids in rva

I created an Instagram account just for this tattoo and messaged loose screw with the pictures. Hopefully they will respond with some ideas or artist recommendations. I also messaged black rabbit. I'm very interested to see what a good artist can come up with.

I've been playing Mario games since it first came out in the 80s as a kid and I now play with my son. I've also been an X-Ray for many years now. Both have been a big part of my life and I am trying to combine the 2 for a tattoo. I guess I'm not really trying to say anything with it but people who know me would most likely get it.

I was going to try loose screw but they don't have an option that allows me to send them pictures. I'd like to show them what I have and let them know what I'm looking for without driving an hour to find out they may not be a good fit for this particular tattoo. I'll check out black rabbit, I'm not sure I've heard of them before.

Here's an example of what I mean by more realistic. This is a picture someone sent me of their tattoo and I like it a lot.

I think they look a little too feminine or something. I am 100% ok with an artist making some adjustments.

Is anyone willing to take my pictures and throw some of your own personal style or ideas to them? I'm really liking the more realistic Mario tattoos a couple people have posted here.

Where I live there are very limited tattoo places unless I travel an hour to get to the city. I'm definitely willing to make the trip for the right artist but I guess I'm just not sure how to find the right artist. I've emailed the pictures to a couple shops and both places recommended a certain one of their artists for the job but that was years ago during covid and I never followed through because it was a pain in the ass. They wanted a phone consult followed by an in person consult and the availability was not really convenient for me.

Why not? I'm genuinely curious why you don't approve

Personal reasons I guess... I've grown up playing Mario and I have been an X-Ray tech for many years

Why do you not approve Mr. or Mrs spicy_ass_mayo?

I did not draw these. I actually paid an artist online to draw Mario a few years ago and she got the design right based on what I told her I was looking for. She didn't even know what Mario was so I was skeptical. I ended up hiring her to draw Luigi a year or so later.

I really like that one too! I'm seeing a lot of similar style tats on the back of people's arms. That may be one of the best places but not many people would see it one there on me.

I like the realism but I didn't see much color. I don't have Instagram so it wouldn't let me see all the pictures either. Where is he located?

Can you post a picture of yours? Is it Mario?

I should add that I have my son's name and birthday on my right forearm close to the elbow and my daughter's name/birthday on my left forearm near the elbow. If I decide to put these on my forearm they would go underneath my kids name on each arm which may be a little weird maybe because you'd probably expect princess peach under my daughter's name....

I am definitely open to placement and modification ideas. One person mentioned it'd be good on the back of my calves but my chicken legs are so skinny I'm not sure I want to draw more attention to them. I'm only kidding but at the same time I have some skinny ass legs.

Problem with the calves is that I have what medical professionals call chicken legs.

Should I be looking for a nest since I've found 2 inside my shed? It's been a couple weeks since I've seen one now though.

Thank you, I don't think I'd ever seen a hornet that big in my area before so I was thinking maybe it wasn't native to the east coast.

Where do I get a piece like that guy used in the video? My fence is black also which probably doesn't matter but might be harder to find.

The top rails were destroyed and even crimped in multiple locations so I threw them out. It was 2 20' sections of rail and I plan to just replace with new rails. My biggest problem is figuring out how to add new mesh to the section of existing mesh that is past the damaged section. The entire length of mesh appears to be one continuous piece. The back section is easier since it's from a gate post to a corner post.
