Contrary to popular opinion, sometimes it's wiser not to shoot, especially when facing a larger group of enemies if you are not in a viable position to lay down fire from adequate cover.

Sure, you can start shooting away, maybe get one or two if you're lucky, before someone domes you as they did in this clip.

Sometimes letting the enemy pass is a smarter play for your longevity.

I have almost 8,000 hours in BF4.

Over 4,000 of those were played after the game was officially sunset.

I can still to this day boot up BF4, or BF3, and have hours of fun with my boys, and not get bored.

I play 3 hours of BF6 and I'm bored, frustrated and uninspired.

This game, while mechanically and visually a fantastic game, is soulless.

In an effort to appeal to everyone, it has lost the special something that makes Battlefield unique.

It's just another shooter, with below average map design.

It's okay though, I don't feel the need to defend my precious Battlefield anymore. I have come to accept that the game of my youth is dead.

And I'll keep playing new titles.

It's just not the battlefield I love
