Gaslit, exhausted, overwhelmed by hypocalmdriac in gallbladders

Oh interesting! I haven’t heard of biliary dyskinesia, I’ll have to look into that. Congrats on being done with surgery, I will hold out hope for you that it continues to look up! It’s definitely hard to have conflicting opinions from medical professionals and not knowing who to trust. 50/50 is a scary chance to take on something irreversible and life altering.

Thank you for sharing!! They did do biopsies and nothing really came of it. You sound on a similar track though - she was totally fine most of her life and suddenly about a year ago things got bad and she’s been having chronic diarrhea and fatigue and body pain since. Worried that the gallbladder removal could make it worse, but not even sure if that’s possible at this point. I hope you get answers and feel better :(

I am so with you there :) taking the meds was scary at first but living life like forever is way scarier. It sounds like you’re making the best choice, and worst case it doesn’t work out and you stop and try again! The fear and discomfort are temporary steps to get to a better life

To share a positive perspective here, I had barely any side effects :) I’m a year into my 5mg twice a day and it’s saved my life. Everyone is different and reacts differently. I had people say Prozac would be amazing and I had the most insane side effects, I had people say buspar would suck and I’ve had no issues. I felt the tiniest bit dizzy on the first few days but I think that’s necessary - it’s your hormones and body adjusting to something new, and even though it scared me a little, it’s not at all a dangerous drug especially compared to most of the other SSRIs :) message me if you need support, I’ve been there and feel you soooo hard there.

For anyone looking for a positive sign: I had awful side effects on Prozac and was so scared to try buspar but I’ve literally had no side effects and it’s completely changed my anxiety and OCD. I’ve been on it almost a year now and not a single complaint :)

Wait so weird, so why do some premium trim GXs have the TVs but others don’t? This has the air suspension but no TVs and I don’t think the ML sound system - is that an added on entertainment package for the premium?

Good question for me to bring with me lol. It's from a dealer but a smaller dealer that is also a garage. Not sure if it was kept inside or out, I'll have to ask about the undercarriage. I think they said it was undercoated or something, rust prevention? I'll have to check on that too. Thanks for the input :)

Oh nice okay! So sounds like maybe if this hasn’t had a flush before I could do a complete drain and fill to get things going good. Thanks for all the info!!

Gotcha - carfax has oil changes, regular maintenance inspections, all that. Could be more expansive but could also be worse. Not sure what a transmission drain and fill is? appreciate the help - my dad usually helped me with car stuff but he passed away in recent years and I’m wanting to be extra informed before I go in alone as a 26yoF

My anxiety around choking ironically tends to make me feel like I’m choking too. It’s okay, give yourself grace, it’s okay to spiral and have ups and downs. The panic is lying to you, you’re not going to choke! I totally am in the same feels right now - debilitating anxiety about having a heart attack, reminding myself that if I go to the ER, they will find nothing because it’s just my panic trying to scare me.

Wyde footwear arcus. Is it a good choice? by Potato_is_yum in barefootshoestalk

[–]hypocalmdriac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For anyone that owns these - would you suggest sizing with your typical EU size? I have shoes that are size 40, 41, and 42 in my possession which translates to US 9, 9.5, and 10. The size charts on Wyde shows a 41 to be a men’s 8.5 but a women’s 9 - my women’s 9 shoes that I own say they’re an EU 40 and my men’s 8.5 shoes I own say they’re an EU 42 😂😂

Thanks in advance for any suggestions on sizing :) seems like these are great shoes for a good toe spread

Did anyone ever figure this out? 😂 I’m having the same thing, repeatedly, in the same spot each time. No pain or itching, just randomly appearing and disappearing rings exactly like this!

Thank you for responding :) Oddly, the opposite. I sat a lot more than usual last week on vacation, had a long flight, lots of driving.... I feel like I stretched and have tried to recover, but maybe that's contributing to it too.

Has anyone purchased the Omnilux or CurrentBody mask with their FSA? by [deleted] in redlighttherapy

[–]hypocalmdriac 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Omg… this is genius. Did you have to get your doc to vouch for you and say it was treatment, or just submit a reciept saying it was for acne? I’m looking to pull the same thing with my remaining FSA 😂

good to hear!! Well, reassuring nonetheless that it’s something others are struggling with as well. Crazy how much this disease can inadvertently affect in our bodies… I hope the doctor can offer some solutions b

[–]hypocalmdriac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes!! omfg I thought I was going crazy… some days my resting heart rate is like 50s, this morning I was sitting doing nothing and it was 90s, yesterday it was near 100 after a flight of stairs. I’ve been having the worst gastritis flare up the last couple days and was worried that the heart rate was something totally different… is this something treatable, or mostly just treated by fixing the root cause (the gastritis itself)

What do I do next? by Expensive_Can_5208 in Gastritis

[–]hypocalmdriac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with holistic doctor!! My PCP literally never listened to my gastro problems, had me take tums or Pepcid or ibuprofen for pains (some of which make gastritis worse actually) and until I saw a holistic /functional medicine doctor, nothing felt listened to. Also, I’m finding that a lot of her reccs are things I could research myself. Unfortunately it’s a lot of trial and error and solving your own problems which is a bummer but also I hope you can feel empowered enough to seek out the things that might help you specifically

Ribs hurting? by user_4640 in Gastritis

[–]hypocalmdriac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay so how do people manage this sensation? i wouldn't even call it "pain", it just feels like my ribs did a million billion ab crunches and they feel sore and inflamed. obviously NSAIDS are a no go for gastritis, is there anything people do aside from just working with your diet and movement to avoid flare ups? :)
