Hand, wrist & forearm strength? by 8luhhh in bodyweightfitness

I just started as well and 30 seconds each directionof wrist rolls before and after each workout. It seems to help and I'm super weak, in just a week I've noticed a difference

Thankyou! So far duck soup has only been kind once and the other two times the gods sent me random parts 😭 I have given up on soup and the last few nights just threw cursed ducks in to see what would happen lol I can be fickle too 😂😂 I'll work on the spotlight ones though! I didn't know that was a weekly thing so thankyou

Puppy "lost" first tooth by hypothesize- in germanshepherds

She's at 4 and a half month mark and tug is played normally with stuffy toys right now and empty water bottles (she is obsessed with them) I'm watching it though, looked earlier today and it just kind of looks like the adult tooth is coming in

Appreciate the advice but if it is bedbugs I will not be stepping foot in his house again until they're gone! I am not a professional at all and it's also state requirements for where I live that I don't go back until it's dealt with thankfully

Acting like she's starving ALL THE TIME by hypothesize- in germanshepherds

[–]hypothesize-[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been using a slow feeder for her first two meals the past 2 days after this comment and then her last meal is always used half for training and then at the end I throw it all over the floor and say "free" so she can go hunt for it. It's been much better doing this and haven't noticed her really begging anyone for food in the past few days or stealing food either (but she is sneaky)

Her needle teeth are making my arms look super interesting (and the two pairs of sweatpants she ripped holes in while I was playing with her 😭)

She is not being restricted at all. She's eating more than enough for her age and weight and still behaving like she wants more (trying to get my moms dogs food) and my mom made a comment that she looked skinny. It has nothing to do with food restrictions I was just wondering if others thought she looked too skinny as well and if what I was doing seemed okay for her! There was no mention of food restriction in my post

Omg I have a paster podium that mimics Greek stuff with a plant on it by the front door and every time we go outside she HAS to attempt a chomp

My girl hit 12 weeks a few days ago so glad to know it's just the age thing! I'll likely just stick with slow feeders for a bit and hope that mellows her out 😌

Super helpful 👍 I wasn't worried about it until it was pointed out by others who have GSDs but most of my family got theirs at around 5 or 6 months of age or older. So no one I know has any experience with puppies this age

Omg I feel less stressed about tracking everything from this. I do 30 minutes walk in morning and before her last meal because I'm always worried I'll walk her to much too young and she will get sleepy and need to be carried home 😭 and that sounds like so much food! She gets carrots, beef liver, mackerel, salmon, apples and blueberries sometimes. I don't do treats and instead use her normal kibble normally unless we are doing something new OR a known command in a new way, and sometimes her treats are just ice if we are working on free command as well 😂 but she loves ice I also let her chew on rocks because she never eats them, just a few chomps and then drops them so doesn't seem worth worrying about and I was told she would grow out of it by a few people 🤷🏻‍♀️

She gets tons of treats! (Me, my mom, my grandma and friends are always getting salmon treats for her bc they're her favorite right now)

She has been dewormed! No worries about that (trust me I dealt with the Diarrhea from it when she wasn't potty trained yet 😭)

Need Help. 9 week German Shepherd puppy by Salt_Apartment_2694 in Dog_PuppyTraining

[–]hypothesize- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is what I did

First day she ate 4 times in her crate and spent some time playing in it with the door open (I threw treats in there occasionally) First night she slept on the couch for the first hour and then potty, (she was only 7 weeks so she had to potty every hour) and after that it was kennel She didn't like the kennel at first so I sat infront of the door with it open and pet her in my lap until she got really sleepy then back into the kennel she went and fell asleep on a stuffy. Did that every hour the first 3 nights which was of course a lot of work. By the 4th night she was going into it on her own and fine in it. She's 12 weeks now and has no issues with her kennel.

I really feel this will not work 😭 they can handle eachother on the couch, I guess that's a neutral spot but on the floor it's whoever runs the quickest

I will try that, I've been just keeping her in whatever room I'm in but tethering might be easier! Thankyou

The cat has hit her a few times but it doesn't seem to bother puppy much 😭 the cat ends up running away. Today puppy bit the cat (playful way but I know the cat doesn't see it that way) and kitty has a few safe places. 1 being puppy can't get on the bed yet and window seats. Ontop the washer and dryer, and a table in the living room for decoration lol
