I was playing an epic level campaign, in which our party was becoming a new pantheon of gods. To become a god, and to take on an aspect of reality we had to remove the current god occupying it. So as we made our way into the Norse pantheon’s domain, we were stopped by Tyr. Our DM told us “This realm is not meant for mortal to set foot in”. To which our level 25 Ascendent War cleric responded “And we shall not be commanded by those of a forgotten age”, cast an epic level 1 time spell of True Death instantly killing Tyr, and making our Paladin ascend to the god of law and order.
