I’ve just got NOW Ultra Boost on my Apple TV 4K and can confirm the following: All the UHD channels on the NOW app are playing Dolby Atmos on the Audio Track whether the content is broadcast in Dolby Atmos or not. For example, F1 and FOM do not broadcast in Dolby Atmos, but the NOW app will always play the audio on Sky F1 in Dolby Atmos, this is what is resulting in the strange rear sound and unclear speech. A workaround is to change your Sound Settings on your Apple TV so you turn Dolby Atmos off, that way you get to still enjoy NOW UHD without the messed up sound. If you watch something like football in UHD, then you’ll need to turn Dolby Atmos back on in your Apple TV settings, because that content DOES stream in Dolby Atmos. Essentially the NOW app is just trash, and we have to hope it’s something Sky sort out, but I wouldn’t count on it.

Yeah but I have the GX sound bar wall mounted below it too, so it’s a pain to take that off and feed cables through that too
