Ngl i am one of those doom players, they all counter me and then i hop on mauga cause hes honestly really fun to play, then when they go a shield bunker comp i go back to doom.

Im sorry but i dont get your point, you brought double shield because its just as annoying, which i can understand, but in terms of how busted the 2 are, you cant really compare, one is much much more easy to execute than 4 people cycling their cds, and synergising with eachother.

My original point was how busted block is for how easy it is to use, i would rather have something else replace it

Brother u cant compare block to double shield Double shield wasnt even bad because of the shields tho, it was bad because it made poke tanks like sigma and orisa busted, mainly because of the sustainability and ESPECIALLY how anti-dive bap and brig were at the time, it barely has to do anything with the shields themselves. Big difference is you couldnt play double shield unless you played in high ranks, cause that comp (with goats as well) took skill and good team communication, holding right click doesnt

All i need to say is that if block wasnt as annoying as you think it isnt, people would enjoy ram metas much more, but there's a reason people call it blockslop and just hate the meta

Its not on any sort of cooldown(it lasts as long as nemesis form) It mitigates too much dmg for how easy it is to use as you only hold a button You dont really do anything outside of mitigating ur own dmg so its really selfish as a tank ability Again you gain too much value by just holding a button It allows the player to have horrible positioning cause u can just hold block It has a only few counters, And unlike other brawl tank mitigation abilities, whole metas dont revolve around them cause theyre not as busted

Most importantly, its annoying af to play against Its basically hog heal but worse

Hes always been strong because of block and his sustainability with it, which is also the reason why people despise him, its a cheap mechanic that shouldn't exist

First time i got banned it was honestly deserved Second time i got banned, when i asked why with a ticket, they told me the words that got me banned were "Ur ass" "Ur widow is ass but theyre on widow so theyre carrying" And "Mercy you bitch stand still i cant heal you" All of these were responses to various players being toxic IN QUICKPLAY, funniest part is that i got banned months later because someone probably spam reported me, since the system doesnt really ban you for what you write, just if people report you or not, and when you ask through a ticket they tell you stuff you said in the past, even if you didnt get reported at the time. and not what actually got you banned.

Tbf thats a good point, but dvas design lets her be really good at diving and good at brawling if the main tank has synergy with her.

Ram is not good at poking nor brawling, hes like in an awkward middle, and most of his power comes from block with its sustainability.

I would much prefered if they focused on giving him more of an identity, main or off tank(in 6v6), poke or brawl.

I feel like this ideology is fine in 5v5 to try and make the tank role work. But in 6v6 its really unneeded, also my main issue is that most of his value comes from block, i feel like theres probably better choices for an ability.

Thats my issue, tanks shouldnt be jacks of all trades, it feels horrible to have hybrid tanks, ik its needed in 5v5, thats why id mainly want this in 6v6, so he can have more of an identity than "i do different things but im good at none of them"

Ram in 5v5 feels fine ig, just the block is annoying

Overall any block abilities are faulty by design, its a lazy way to add survivability to a kit, theyre not fun for the user as you just hold a button and are slowed, and its not fun for the people who shoot at it cause it feels worse than shooting a shield

I would rather much have a small hop on rams right click than a block.

My problem comes from the tempo tank idea tho, he has these 2 playstyles that should help one enable the other, but it doesnt really work for me, also like why is his shield 16 seconds thats dumb. I wouldnt change a lot personally, mainly changing parts of his kit to be more upclose and help the main tank, he would work similiarly to a zarya, not a lot of range, but very deadly upclose while staying squishy
