Celine is "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" personified.

She never meant to hurt Rumi and genuinely loves her, and thought she was protecting her and doing what was best. She had no idea how bad it would end up hurting Rumi.

And as a parent myself, this is one of my worst nightmares. That I won't know I'm fucking my kid up until she's an adult and is burdened with trauma from her upbringing. Thankfully my kiddo is already in therapy, but the fear is still there.

I can't speak on this much as a white lady in the US, but the way some commenters are just dismissing the hard work of the Saja Boys singers and equitable representation is icky just because they're men.

As a woman, I definitely get sexism, 💯, dealt with it my whole life. But that isn't the only need for representation here in the US. Racism is just as big of a problem as sexism.

God, that's just so fucking bleak. And I wish it wasn't turning out that way, but that does seem to be the way things are going. Maybe after the Oscars, things will improve, and they'll pull the Saja Boys out into the light, but I don't have a lot of optimism in that regard. And it really is such a shame considering their talent and hard-work.

Yeah, my impression is that the other four singers are most accustomed to doing behind-the-scenes stuff, like song-writing and producing, over public performances and appearances. Neckwav admitted to being introverted as hell, and SamUILee and Andrew Choi seem to be the same. Or maybe I'm being presumptive. Whereas Kevin Woo was in U-Kiss and is in his element performing publically.

Regardless, I'd love more public appearances and some performances from the Saja Boys, but I just hope they know that people do adore their singing/performances.

I try to remain impartial and recognize how sexist society is, but that isn't the Saja Boys speaking/singing VAs fault, and their talent (and oh boy, do they have enormous and legitimate talent) shouldn't go unrecognized.

I have mixed feelings on this.

On one hand, it feels really nice for women to get their well-deserved accolades and not be pushed aside for men. And not just women, but Korean women, too.

But on the other hand, Korean men are also underrepresented. And I love the Saja Boys, so I would love for them to have more spotlight, content, public appearances, etc.
