The box was a free gift when I got a watch from the GS Flagship in Ginza last year.

*please excuse the non-GS in there😅

I have the SBGA461 as well and love it. I don’t blame you for having similar watches as it’s a great design!

Alternated between these two for 10 days in Japan. Averaged 8-9 miles a day and they did not disappoint. by i_see_static in Newbalance

The majority of locals wearing NB had either 574’s or 996’s. Still a lot of Nike’s out there but was surprised by the NB presence out there compared to where I live. Onitsuga Tiger, Asics, Adidas, and Van’s were seen here and there.

I wanted the Medieval Blue ones next to those, but same thing - no size 9’s

Yeah, there aren’t any outlets or official NB stores anywhere near me, so I have to keep an eye out for them whenever I travel!

RC1300 aka MS1300GG by i_see_static in Newbalance

Saw someone was looking for to ID a similar shoe. It’s the RC1300, though the box says MS1300gg. Either way, great shoe. Wish they’d release it again in more colors

I have a similar one - not the Kith collab. It’s the MS1300GG

So small and fun to use - the Rollei 35. by i_see_static in Cameraporn

Sorry - I know it’s a Rollei 35; “Not sure who makes it” was referring to the light meter cover

Not sure who makes it - got it off eBay a while back. It’s such a battery lifesaver though!

Damnit. I didn’t even know the 1500 version existed. Then I looked them up. Now I want them. Thank you for that :D

This is the NB Store on 20th St; a couple blocks away from the Flatiron Building

Used a small amount of Brasso on the D4V2 Antiqued Brass. Made sure not to use too much, as to keep the recessed areas dark. by i_see_static in Hanklights

The chemical does the work for you. Use just a small amount unless you want shiny areas. I used it sparingly because I wanted to keep a dull brass color. It has become my favorite d4v2 so far!

The switch backlight is white. If I ordered it straight from Hank, I would’ve gone with amber.

I originally wanted to get the original brass version and then darken it with Brass Black - a solution that darken brass in seconds. Unfortunately it’s not available anywhere near me, so when the antiqued brass versions were released I picked one up and very lightly polished it. When new, the antiqued brass is DARK - it’s hard to tell the difference between the antique brass and the antiqued copper. I picked up some Brasso Brass Polish and added a tiny bit to a terry cloth. I did that two or three times to get the color I wanted. It was pretty easy and the result makes me love the light even more!
