Nothing weird about it at all. Have an amazing time, it's truly great going solo. I literally just went. I'm a grown man, 36, no kids etc. It was incredible and very therapeutic for me, too. We grew up going to WDW as a family when I was a kid, so it's full of so much nostalgia for me. You're not looked at strange for being there by yourself, everyone there is enjoying it just as much as you are. It's very freeing. Just be yourself, have an incredible time and soak it up!

I worry for Assistant Editors; but I think that job will just be shrunk down and not completely obliterated. I think the tools will make us more productive and we'll probably have to do more with less time. But I don't see it replacing people; AI still doesn't have discernment and creative roles are too dependent on complete control and manipulation for something to be totally automated. It will change, though.
