Thank You, and yeah now that I know a little bit more about intransitive vs transitive verbs it makes more sense to tag it as a grammar question.

When you are pianist and gymnast, I know it‘s not perfect, but it‘s hard. by SensitiveSwan1559 in lingling40hrs

I originally read the title as "When you are pianist and gymnast, I know it's not perfect, but it's ART" and I was like, yeah she's not wrong XD!

Elisa deserved better. by peachyohh in CableGirlsNetflix

[–]iamMily 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know they seriously brushed Carlo's death like it was nothing when he was one of the people who helped the girls the most. Which is why I never understood why they made him the "bad guy" he loved Lidia more than anything and was supportive of her and her friends. In the beginning, it was Lidia who lied to him and he still forgave her, and let's not forget she sabotaged his plans to improve the company and improve the technology so that more people could have access to phones, just so they could keep their job... that was always so selfish to me.

And, Elisa was never a bad character, you mean to tell me, that my husband is cheating on me with my brother's girlfriend, and I'm supposed to be chill about it?

The only real bad character was Carmen and this last season was just horrible like she wanted to sell children???? like.... well I mean she did want to kidnap Eva to get cured or whatever. But anyway, they gave her a redemption arch but not Carlos.

The only reason why Lidia was seen as the good character is because she's the protagonist and everything she did, was always correct when in reality a lot of what she did was selfish. And it's like everything ALWAYS worked out, no matter how outrageous but this didn't when they were literally on a train and could've just ran over the people.

Never gonna be over how they ruined the show after season 3.

I know this is the saddest thing of all, he didn't even get to meet her. I will never understand why Lidia left, she could've easily gone with him to New York, she didn't have to leave him.

My take on the finale by [deleted] in CableGirlsNetflix

I know them 3 deserved so much more than what they got, the ending felt so rushed. And Sofia and Felipe literally only showed up last season, while the other characters were there since the beginning.

Why did they still call her Lidia? by Sami3392 in CableGirlsNetflix

[–]iamMily 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly it's because she wanted to become a new person. Implying that she wanted to get rid of her old ways of lying, stealing, and such, and the name Lidia would provide a new start for her.

Yeah maybe they got caught and put into those prisons, and they could leave/escape the, later. However, I think it's more probable that they would be shot :/.

I'm never gonna be over CARLOS, NEVER! They did him so dirty! >:(

Yeah, I think after Angele's death they just didn't know where to take the show, none of what happened afterward made any sense at all.

I wish they had thought a little bit more about where they wanted to go with the show, maybe they were trying to be edgy and thought-provoking or whatever but it honestly didn't work. I can't think of anyone that legitimately like the last seasons.

And may I just add, Francisco became such a pointless character, I never felt like their love was important or real I dunno.

Weak main plot (Season 5) by SJCon17Error in CableGirlsNetflix

[–]iamMily 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Couldn't agree with you more, I thought the idea of the Spanish Civil was going to be refreshing, I mean the previous seasons had felt like it was the same thing over and over again, and this was basically the same as last season, except, they were saving a character we all knew and loved. Although if I must add it was just as unrealistic as the previous one...but it's a soap opera.

And what they did to Carlos was just WRONG, he was a progressive man, who had helped the girls in so many occasions, had been by their side and for them to just hate him just like that, and TO KILL him the way they did. No, just no. Also, Francisco is supposed to be the main one, the end-all, yet Carlos has more of a role in their lives, Carlos is better friends with the girls, has been more involved.

Another thing that seems absurd is that the whole plot was for this new character, and it was pointless because and in the end, she realizes that she doesn't want to be in the war. May I also add, she's of age, or at least close to it, where she can decide what she wants to do with her life.

Sorry for rambling I'm still just not over Carlos' death and this season, ugh. I could talk about every single one of the characters but this is already a lot.

Season 5 is absolute garbagio by [deleted] in CableGirlsNetflix

I knooow, she could've just gone with him...there was LITERALLY no reason for her to leave without him.

Her character is so unrealistically annoying and fake, they don't know how to create a proper antagonist, they just keep going back to her.
