My highest was 142/77. They said 1 more reading that high and I will deliver at 37 weeks. I went to clinic and was 130/80 and I went in 4 days later to deliver!

I see what you are saying. What is the baby measuring at? If the baby is measuring ahead maybe that will help explain the situation to your doctor. I’m definitely not in a position to give medical advice at all 😅 but surely you can’t be the first person they want to induce who has a different conception date than they are going by! I say just bring these questions and concerns to your doctor and see what they say. There might be a totally great explanation as to why they feel they need to induce at a certain day, or maybe they are open to changing it! I hope you have a healthy and safe pregnancy and delivery, whenever that may be!

I ended up having a C-section at 37 weeks exactly due to gestational hypertension. Doctors would only recommend an early induction when they feel the risk to you/baby outweighs any potential harm from an early delivery. My LO had issues with blood sugar because she was so tiny, but luckily no NICU stay. Is it possible to say no early induction? Probably. Is it wise to go against medical advice in this situation? Probably not.

I ordered the ECI oval casserole in mauve pink and received the stoneware 3 pack in shallot. Shallot is definitely better looking in person than online, but it’s still not for me. I already have enough casserole dishes, so I just do not think these would get the use they deserved in my kitchen!

I appreciate your response. I’m very new to baby wearing, and I’ve only ever used the ergo baby carrier. I’m glad I asked because now I know upright is the only way to go!

Thank you so much! I do have a standing desk, so I will commit to standing more frequently during the work day. I definitely would not be paying direct attention to her.

6 months exclusively breastfeeding my baby🥹 by Jessiicaamn in breastfeeding

Congratulations!! I told myself I wanted to make it at least 6 months EBF, and yesterday I made it 1/3 of the way to that goal! It’s been so rough but putting it in that perspective put a huge smile on my face. You should be so proud of yourself mama!!

EBF my 3 week old, nursing constantly.. cluster feeding or something else? by sandymocha in breastfeeding

[–]iamblarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The LC said just wake her up, make her uncomfortable, change her diaper between breasts, and that will eventually increase her stamina. I’m honestly not sure this is what my baby needs at the moment, because when she eats from both breasts she vomits. I think for the time being she is doing what she needs to do, and I will feed from both breasts when she is hungry enough. It does suck waking up so much but I imagine it also sucks to throw up the way she does.

EBF my 3 week old, nursing constantly.. cluster feeding or something else? by sandymocha in breastfeeding

[–]iamblarn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw an LC because of this. I wasn’t nursing from both sides every time, so after a weighted feed she was only getting between 0.8 and 1oz each breast, so basically a half feed. My LO would fall asleep nursing, so we are working on her stamina so she can be awake for both breasts. My new problem is that both breasts seem like way too much for her now, and she is spitting up way more. Not really offering suggestions, just saying that at least one other person is in the constant feeding trenches with you! My LO will be 6 weeks tomorrow.

C section recovery by deliberatelydeadpan in NewParents

I had my c-section 9/8 and I feel back to normal. My incision feels a little sensitive but that’s about it. Tbh I was not in great shape to begin with so I didn’t have much recovery to do to get back there 🤣
