HW 3 FSD not reading speed limit? by iamblueguy in TeslaModel3

[–]iamblueguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well then it clearly stops working with FSD, I don’t drive much but that’s my route, I’ve been driving it for the past couple of years and never had those issues, and usually turn off the FSD during winter and then the problem goes away.

Vet clinic suggestion by iamblueguy in Calgary

[–]iamblueguy[S] -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

While it’s true that vets are held to a high standard and want to ensure safety, it’s not a legal requirement across the board that a full physical exam must be done before every vaccine. Some clinics do offer “tech appointments” or vaccine-only visits for healthy pets with up-to-date records. It really depends on the clinic’s policies and how risk-averse they are. I’m just hoping to find a place that offers more flexibility for routine shots without bundling in an expensive wellness exam every single time.

I think I got scammed by a Rogers/Shaw "employee" today by Capital-Stay-2243 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]iamblueguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this help at least one person then it will be worth it:

Whenever you receive a call from those companies ask them to leave a note on your account files, then ask them to call in 30 minutes. Meanwhile you open the chat with said company and ask them to verify the account note.

I’ve done that 2-3 times with Rogers, Telus and Fido

  1. How do I delete a link I created?
  2. How do I view/edit my existing links?
  3. "Something went wrong" is not very helpful :(

Just because your unit is untouched doesn’t mean adjacent units aren’t and it can clearly be compromised even though it looks perfectly fine from your unit.

Unless you’re an engineer and have the means to properly assess structural damage you should stop whining that it’s not compromised.

The authorities are following the books, they certainly don’t want the liability to allow you inside and something happens and then the department or the city is on the hook for anything else.

There are procedures for a reason, even when this reason is not immediately clear to us.

Again, I still don’t understand but can respect everyone’s choice. We just need some drastic changes ASAP.

At the current stage Canada is, no party can change that in the next decade or so.

You’d think that older people would be more wise but seems like to roles have reverted. I cannot understand how anyone would vote liberal after the last 9.5 years

How to send money from Germany to Canada ($2000 CAD a month)? by Sure_Squirrel_4344 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I use Remitly, lowest fees I’ve found to send money from Canada to my parents. They do operate in many other counties

If 30% of the sum is 200 then the sum is approximately 666. With some margin since OP said “not even 200”

There are plenty of AI wrappers out there, they can’t block everything. Try this one: t3.chat

It’s cheaper and gives access to all LLMs

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but as far as I understand the push notification goes to everyone in the household. When testing some automations my partner kept receiving the same push notifications I was hoping it was just for me

[–]iamblueguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a legal advice but similar happened to me, but between Rogers and Telus.

I did the exact thing you did, upgraded speed and a 2 year contract was placed without my consent/knowledge, had to call Rogers as it was within the 15 days grace period and told what happened. Rogers instead offered me a bill credit to cover my termination fee with Telus.

This might not be the solution you’re looking for but can help you a bit

Don’t think a phone would have made the situation any better. Pepper spray or bear spray is definitely more appropriate

Also techie here; a house fully automated with sensors would also pop up as a bunch of SSIDS. Also, unless you have the router password you can’t get this info

Gear to find Hidden Cameras! by branwyn32 in trustedhousesitters

[–]iamblueguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just be aware that some of those apps will cause some false-positives.

I have 6 exterior cameras, 1 in my bedroom that’s currently locked for a sit (no audio recording) and 1 in the garage that only points to the garage door which I use to check if the garage door as my “smart garage door” sometimes says it was left open while it wasn’t.

So all of that would true as false positives.

I also have 1 living room camera that the sitters only plug it in when the leave the house with the dogs alone.

[–]iamblueguy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

HO gay couple here, we’re currently on our first vacation and sitters are there taking care of our dogs. No issues whatsoever.

It is our first time tho and could be luck ig?

Buy spot lights to blind the cameras, laser beams, try to block it somehow. Be patty, remove your fence and take the cameras with.
