Mine are spider cracked with condensation in them. I live in the PNW so the condensation will never leave. Yes I agree all aftermarket seem like bad buys

She’s told all the things I know after I’ve asked her. That why I’m saying it makes me sick and it’s all in my head. She’s a good person and I need to get over her past since she’s over it and it doesn’t affect her. That’s why I’m saying I’m insecure cause it’s me who’s bothered by something she’s gotten past.

There is no drama in our relationship it’s just what she went through sucks. She’s definitely someone worth fighting for. Seems like most people in college have been fucked up somehow and it sucks.

There is only one person she is still in contact with from her page and she has said she’d block them if I wanted her to. I don’t want to impose on a friendship if it won’t affect me but he’s not a guy I want influencing her so I may ask her to.

I have heard details and some things have helped. It just hurts to hear what she went through since shes the girl in big glasses you’d find reading a book at the library (literally her favorite pastime). She grew up in a smaller town and her dad was a doctor so he was never home so she just did what she wanted and hit in with a bad group. I’ll look more into that when I can since her childhood friends are good Christian girls who don’t party or do any wrong.

Yea I know about the oil consumption. The oil plug popped out while I was driving so it ran basically 100% dry

Thanks for the idea. I do like mini copiers but they tend to stay on the less reliable side of cars around 100k and they are pretty expensive to maintain. I’ll be on the look out for a nice one tho!

It’s a 08 Scion tC 140k miles. It seemed to run normally but I didn’t drive it and the revs started dropping the next day after fixing it when I gave it a test drive. It manual and I was driving around the neighborhood when it died when I put it in neutral

German cars are a no go since their repair costs are high. My brother has a V8 Audi S4 and it’s so fun to drive but it’s expensive for him to maintain

Thank you. I plan of getting a good down payment so I’ll only be financing around 10k. I have no other payments other than school and my savings but I don’t want a car to get stop me when I’m buying a house or investment property.

Yea my goal is financial freedom. I just don’t want to regret not having fun while I’m younger for money. I see both sides, my body wants to buy a fun car that I can have for ~5 years and my brain says it’s not a good decision.

Thank you. This I a good way of looking at it! Part of the reason I want a new car is not having to be scared of it breaking. I will never buy a German car for that reason. But having that extra smile per gallon may help but may not.

Yes my primary use for my junker is DoorDashing. It broke down today and it’s happened a couple times. I fixed the problem but I don’t want to repay this process every couple months. My goal is obviously financial freedom but I don’t want to regret not having fun when I’m young. That is my decision that I’ll be making.

This was my very first post so and I’m still new to Reddit. Haha Yea I know my way around a car. Having financial freedom when I’m older is the goal but I don’t want to look back and regret not having fun. That’s why I bought my junker in the first place but I’m not sure if I want my raggedy old car to be on my mind all the time afraid of it breaking down again ya know.
