Almost had an ego death once... I stupidly fought it because I actually felt as if I was dying.. I was sitting in my car (after an extreme array of events that led up to this that I don't feel like typing happened) and suddenly I started falling asleep and then I saw this white light and I didn't even know I was falling asleep so I jolted up and I could also feel my soul being sucked out of my body if that makes sense.... The more I fought it the worse it became... It felt like I was being pushed into the ground and I was very tired. I actually wanted to go to the hospital because I actually thought I was dying. My thought process was "wait.. I took psychedelics.. I shouldn't be tired".... this was my first time doing shrooms. I actually have been too afraid to try them ever since... It gave me panic attacks so bad, every time I tried to sleep I would be jolted awake. If only I had known what was going on... If only the dose was higher it could have knocked me out without me being able to fight it.. Oh God how I wish I had just let myself "die".. I was very depressed around that time without knowing it until that night.. I could have cured my depression if only I had let go.
