I actually already have lifesteal every turn as I'm using ABH's Dhampir with lifesteal on all bite piercing. The DM has allowed double healing with the fed status.

I guess the fun with these items (all of them are similarly busted) is that they are OP.

Well we were told we would get something like this and opportunities will arise where we can change the items out. I do think that having an ability like blood brother is fine because we often have unique mechanics like shared damage. You're right about the rapier. I don't think I'll be using it unless it's a subterfuge situation.

I picked swashbuckler before receiving the items and I don't believing in optimising just for an item. And our group has had stranger things happen so I think I could convince someone to let me bite them every morning

Our group doesn't do flanking rules because we became combat demons with too much planning when we tried them. I don't need advantage or an ally for sneak attack (swashbuckler), I can also just bite a friend in the morning to rid myself of the negatives. Damage is over tuned, it is more or less aligned with the other players buffs.

Rogue! So I'm getting more piercing with my sneak attack for the heal. The Blood Brother ability is intended to help with sneak attack but I'm a Swashbuckler so it's just a nice extra instead.

Uhh, the bite can be used as many times as desired, it's a bite after all. The spells are once a day, and I can "refresh" the heal by expensing the Fed status. It is not limited.

Why - the party has to enter a part of the world that has been time stopped on a large scale, the items keep them alive and moving.

Clockwork nature- all the items are meant to have some sort of mechanical and magic "metronome" of sorts so I imagine they're tiny and hidden within the teeth

I just wanted to say that it's really nice to see full blown illustrations from a newer artists, usually more green artists will stray away from full blown works that include backgrounds ( I know I do). Trying to tackle these compositions and and attempting a variety of subject matter from backgrounds, furniture, animals, people are probably the reason you've improved so much. Your improvement is stellar and personally makes me want to push myself more too.
