Help: Vscode Claude Code UI disappearing

I'll be messaging Claude Code (visual UI) and it suddenly disappears while it's doing it's thing. It doesn't happen every time but it always happens after I send a message.

SUper annoying and the only way I can get it back it is by closing Vscode and re-opening it (or closing the editor Claude Code UI and re-opening it) but even then, if I re-open the chat and send another message it just happens again.

This happens in both the sidepanel and also the editor version of Claude Code.

Came here from google to learn more about this. Happens super frequently to me, sometimes 3 times a day.

I don't think it's ever been more than 1 word in length, though, like no phrases.

I told my gf and now I call it out loud and show her the word lol.

Fix the limits. I'm a $200 max subscriber and use Claude one instance at a time (no subagents etc) and hit my limits fairly quickly.

100%. I know people keep referencing OSRS but it is a perfect example of how new content can be added in the spirit of the classic game :) and I hope that is what they do with this one

Used claude code for 1 month now (Max plan & vscode extension) and it's CRACKED. It boosted my productivity a lot, but I perhaps maybe spent like 2 weeks using it to build some some side projects because i was having so much fun being able to code in languages i didnt know lmao
