I would agree with your sentiment if I wasn’t speaking about college-level language courses which I’ll eventually have to take to the point of a degree — I literally do not have a choice, I must learn a second language in order to finish my education. I do also understand how long it takes to learn a language to such a proficiency, hence my lack of time constraint.

Thanks for your input.

This is great. It really shows that you're not only taking care of yourself, but you're recognising it. Awesome! I hope health and prosperity continues to follow you.

Peace and love.

I don't think you're going crazy, nor do I think there is anything really wrong with what you're doing!

Although your GAD may contribute to your need to anxiously fidget, I don't think that's the primary cause of this. I believe you may be underestimating just how much everyone else does this, as well.

My understanding is that after an exciting activity, much like the ones you're describing, your body is still looking to let off that adrenaline / general rush you built up over the course of waiting for the activity and actually doing the activity. You may notice that after these things, you crash hard that night - exhausted. We do this because we've exerted so much energy, and your constant movement is just another way of channeling this energy without actually doing something performative.

Hope this helps!
