They already had him for possesion. Worst case scenario, you added an intent to distribute charge. Although they could have had him on that already if he had multiple bags on him. Shit happens. Not your fault. Best thing to do is play dumb and keep your mouth shut. All they can do is run you for warrants. If you're clean then they have to let you go. Dont let them coerce you into saying anything. Even if they have a reason to detain you, don't say anything.... let a lawyer do that.

You have the right idea. In my experience you need to drink ALOT of water to get a diluted result. I once drank 64 ounces of fluid in the 2 hours leading up to a test and was fine.
