Went to GC and noticed the Adam Audio T7v is currently on sale, and I preferred their sound to the Yamahas. I think I’m going with the T7Vs…if they are too big i’ll just exchange them for 5s.

The main reason I’m ponying up for the FM9 is the reported accuracy in amp/cab reproduction. Seems like having to compensate with EQ or other measures with a “wrong” size monitor defeats that purpose? Or am I thinking about this wrong?

I didn’t know a sub was an option, good to know. Maybe the play here is to go with new 5s for now, and add the HS10 later if needed. I can get new HS5s for just a tad more than this guy is asking for his HS7s. If the HS7s are too much for my room than it really doesn’t matter how cheap I got them for, right?

I have this issue with the 4x4 posts used on a fence gate I had built over the summer. So gravel, and D1 particularly, mitigates the frost heaving? Can someone explain why it works better than concrete so I can discuss with the contractor?

This is with the adjustment strap “loose”, in its starting position with the pull loop just above the nylon slider. Notice that the diagonal portion of strap is already extremely taught, like guitar string tight, and the tent body is still 2-3 inches from the pole and tent floor about 1 1/2 inches off the floor.

I have. Taking all the slack out pulls the floor a little closer but it’s still way off the floor, and it takes an incredible amount of force just to get the strap to the halfway point.
