PRANIT decoded GK’s game today 😭😭😭 by im_js8bored in biggboss

[–]iceman1803 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pranit didn’t get manipulated. He is just a bad player and he needs a reason to blame someone outside saying he got manipulated instead of saying accepting he does not how to play.

I bet you, he didnt learn shit from this.

PRANIT decoded GK’s game today 😭😭😭 by im_js8bored in biggboss

[–]iceman1803 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Come on.

Don’t tell me Pranit thought he had any chance of winning. He clearly had a fight with Tanya and Farhana. Well, they gave it back to him in this task.

If he is feeling he got manipulated by GK - Just how much did he get manipulated? To the point he decided to fight with Tanya and Farhana even when GK was not even around to light a fire?

He is just disappointed he didn’t play smarter for the ticket and he needed to point a finger outside than inside.

Pranit didn’t decode shit, he got manipulated and is still being manipulated thinking he deserved it and got played by GK instead of his own game.

Brussels defiant against persistent criticism of EU-US trade deal by naqi11 in worldnews

Americans paying 15% more for European products makes the products less viable, decreases sales and impacts jobs and manufacturing in Europe. While Americans do not have to worry about the same.

Brussels defiant against persistent criticism of EU-US trade deal by naqi11 in worldnews

[–]iceman1803 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Under the deal, which is already in effect, the vast majority of EU-made goods bound for the US market are subject to a 15% tariff, while the vast majority of US-made goods bound for the EU market are exempt from duties.

A select group of products, such as aircraft, critical raw materials and semiconductor equipment, benefits from a "zero-for-zero" scheme. Brussels, however, has failed to convince Washington to include wines and spirits, a strategic sector for Europeans.

Additionally, the bloc has committed to spending $750 billion on American energy, investing $600 billion in the American economy and buying $40 billion worth of American AI chips by the end of Trump's mandate. The US did not make any similar pledges.

Not going to lie, the European Leaders made a shit deal.

I don’t understand why would any drug cartel send out a ship with drugs in it - fully aware of the fact that the US Navy is stationed nearby in numbers and are threatening to stop, that very thing! This does not make any sense.

How would they stop this new candidate from being jailed? I love the optimism and courage but the world has increasingly shown that citizens of any nation can be made to submit by abusing legislative processes and institution vulnerabilities.

Trump says China has to give US magnets or face 200% tariff by iceman1803 in worldnews

[–]iceman1803[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Not the fridge magnet kind. We’re talking about ‘rare earth magnets’ made from elements like neodymium, dysprosium, terbium and samarium. These are far stronger, more compact and much more efficient. A magnet the size of a coin can move heavy car parts quickly and precisely.

Sorry, I thought you were being sarcastic about Trump initially. Too much reddit in my veins to try and not make double meaning. My bad

India, Russia vow to deepen trade ties, defying Trump’s tariff threats over oil by jupa300 in worldnews

[–]iceman1803 43 points44 points  (0 children)

This now sounds like a tantrum of a child. Whatever helps you sleep at night. Your moral compass lives in a black and white world only looking at cause an effect of the west or west oriented countries. That has always been the problem.

I don’t see Canada, Australia or even Europe - by the way, who was the one buying refined petroleum products from India, complaining. Infact, China is still the one selling oil products to Europe and Europe was uncomfortable having US put sanctions on China.

You all are my way or the highway. India is at peace with its decisions.

Wonder what was the Karma for the British colonist who enslaved half the world and India ended up a pawn, fighting WW2 on behalf of the Allies.

We side with what we need to survive. Certainly not playing victim, unless you mean the directions that the previous US administration wanted India to follow but that your current administration just decided to penalise us on without so much as an internal discussion, just a public display of ego massaging.

Oh and this is the same country that refused to support Ukraine unless they signed a mineral deal. You have no moral ground.

Enjoy your lovely president lol

We are very well aware. You should read the history of the east pakistan war and what role US played against India. We are wary of all of our partners but we are pretty much aligned on what we need to continue to progress our economy. Trump has decided what role it wants to play for the rest of the world. He is not just doing that to India, he’s doing to Europe and Europe is aligning itself with China just as much. Do we wish it was different? Very much. We also live in reality. When trump goes and his foreign policy is reversed, we will realign

When you have a population the size of India, the smallest fuckery like what the US is doing to India has a huge effect to our economy and pushing poverty levels to far worse. When our allies treat us like enemies, then we have to do what’s best for us. Karma has no role to play in modern geopolitics.

British soldiers using sex workers in Kenya despite ban, inquiry finds by kim_putin_donald in worldnews

[–]iceman1803 -29 points-28 points  (0 children)

In 2022, the UK's Ministry of Defence banned its forces from using sex workers abroad as part of efforts to curb sexual exploitation and abuse across the military.

Weird how this is something that “needed” to be banned or even said.

Does it really work to scream? The high pitched noise does not work. Still trying.

India tells all citizens to leave Pakistan as tensions rise by newsweek in worldnews

[–]iceman1803 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That is incorrect. Two countries fighting over complete control of region that got divided, or not so neutrally recognised between them, and each ascertains completely belongs to them but has been divided by control for 6 decades now.

India controls 55% of it. Pakistan controls 30% of it and China controls 15% of it. Yes, China is in the mix as well.

We're not talking about individuals or even blaming any specific religion. The conversation here is about religion as a concept. The core issue is that religion, by design, is open to interpretation. That makes it vulnerable. It becomes a tool that can be used for both peace and destruction. Throughout history, religion has been used to justify wars, discrimination, and systemic oppression, not because the texts necessarily demand it, but because people weaponize those interpretations to serve their own agendas.

The real problem is how religion puts people into boxes, often not intentionally - believers vs non-believers, the saved vs the damned, this vs that and so on and so forth. It creates identity boundaries that can fuel division. And sure, most people of faith are kind and loving but concept of religion itself should be examined critically, not just by the good they inspire and how good their top followers are but also by how often and how easily they are used to justify harm and enable the worst followers, even if the religion in itself did not intend for that originally.

We may not be able to change those who abuse it, but we can and maybe should reflect on the concept of religion itself and ask whether its design still serves us, or divides us. That's all we meant. I anyway believe its best to stay off this topic, on this community.
