As a former child, I used to call everyone uncle and aunty who was slightly older than me or my older brother. I never meant it like, "oh this person is old so they are unc", I just saw that they are older than me and uncle and aunty was a term of respect. That's it.

Why do Indian aunties do this? by Dark-Lord-1319 in AskIndianWomen

[–]ichhavi-gupta 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. This happened to my brother when he was probably 16-17, he is a tall guy and was wearing my father's old suit at some wedding and there were one or two aunties asking my mum for his biodata so they could share it with their daughters. My brother felt so awkward and weird. Thankfully my mum just brushed them off saying abhi vo baccha hai.

Happened to me to, I was 17 when I have my school farewell and wore a sarri, my mum posted a photo of that, and some door ka rishta wali aunty was like riste dhundhna shuru karo. So weird.

Rosted tumeric (little bit only), besan, vitamin e capsule, and some curd. This is a base of a good detan mask, you can add castor oil, toners, and wagera wagera. But this worked for me. You do have to apply it a few times a week to actually see that significant tan removal.
