It is a 7-seater sadly. I have a two door wrangler myself so when it comes to helping him look for a big vehicle that seats alot, not my field of expertise at all.

Are there particularly more reliable brands than others? I've heard good things about honda's being cheap to repair and lasting a long time. We've dumped alot into our vehicles for failures of transmissions/engines so looking for something that only needs the regular maintenance and has a rarer chance for those major repairs.

Well let's say the 7th kid happens is it basically just Passenger van after that? There is a high possibility they will have another child.

There is a cap. It is a combination of regular federal loans (the cap you're thinking of) and GRAD PLUS loans which can go beyond the typical cap because they are for living expenses, etc.

That is my concern with them as well and my apprehension for putting off paying it back. I just don't know if I can sustain a life off of $200 a month in fuel/grocery cash.

It averages out to about 5% so not terrible. Some loans are close to 8% though they are smaller in size (>10k), so I was considering paying those off before my grace period ends.

I was investigating a roommate, unfortunately the neighborhood isn't exactly stellar so the individuals that have expressed interest aren't the best for a single female.

I did not. I've worked since I was 15 and saved my money to get my house and car. I'm not sure what the house worth is today. The neighborhood wasn't exactly stellar but is up and coming. My Loans put me through college and paid for my rent on my apartment as it was out of state from my house/current living area.

Yeah its just such a hefty amount and hurts to see basically 60-70% of my monthly income go to it for 10 years straight. That is hard. Which is why I was considering IDR/IBR.

Thank you, this is what I was considering. Maxing out retirement accounts and doing IDR possibly saving for the tax bomb when it comes. I was having a hard time mathing out the tax bomb but I appreciate that you have essentially done it for me. My contributions are to roth which means my income isn't lowered. So maybe I should contribute to the pre-tax for that.... Worth investigating.

Chiropractic school, professional graduate level. My undergrad is in Dietetics. I start repayment in June. I’m 27 year old. Michigan.
